CBSE has released the handbook for Class 11 and 12 Applied Maths subject. For the academic session 2020-21, the Board has started the new course for the students studying in commerce and humanities stream.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the handbook for Class 11 and 12 Applied Maths subject. For the academic session 2020-21, the Board has started the new course for the students studying in commerce and humanities stream.
As the subjects are new, the CBSE has not only released the syllabus but also a complete handbook for classes 11 and 12 for Applied Mathematics.
CBSE Applied Mathematics handbooks have been shared by the Board with the respective schools. These handbooks contain the syllabus as well as exercises for the new course. Since its a new subject, the books are not available yet. However, the handbooks can be referred by students and teachers to understand and begin the course.

As for the revised syllabus for all the subjects, CBSE has not released any information as yet. The syllabus for the upcoming academic session of schools is likely to reduce, Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had informed during the second live interaction with students through social media platforms.
Earlier, during a meeting with various teachers and school heads, senior CBSE officials had confirmed that the Board and NCERT are planning to reduce the syllabus for the CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12. The schools have been permitted to reduce the syllabus for classes 1 to 8. As for the classes of 10 and 12, the board has instructed the schools to continue on the existing syllabus and that only parts or topics would be removed and not the complete chapters.
