Due to the nationwide lockdown in the wake of rapidly spreading COVID-19 virus, the Chhattisgarh government earlier decided to promote all the students of classes 1 to 9 and 11, of the state schools without exams. However, class 10, 12 examinations were postponed again.
According to an official, on March 19, the state government declared the closure of all considering the health and safety of all the students and staff members. In view of the lockdown until April 14, it does not seem possible to conduct school exams in the near future. This is why the government decided to promote all the students up to class 11 (except class 10, 12 students).
However, now the Chhattisgarh Board is all set with fresh dates and revised schedule of the pending examinations. With exams scheduled for the month of May, it is quite evident that the CGBSE 10th results and CGBSE 12th results will be delayed as well.
