The state board could not conduct the examination for the science subject for Class 10. Now, the results for class 10 students will be declared on the basis of other subjects they appeared in.
Haryana government is all set to promote the students of classes 1 to 8 to higher classes without conducting annual examinations. Amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, it is becoming impossible for academic institutions to conduct classes and state education boards to conduct pending examinations. With increasing COVID-19 patients, the country is under lockdown until April 14, many state governments decided to promote the students to higher classes without any annual examinations.
On April 5, Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar stated that students from classes 1 to 8 will be promoted to the next academic year without taking up annual examinations as the schools are closed due to the nationwide lockdown. On March 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a nationwide lockdown for 21 days and advised people to stay inside their homes and practice social distancing in order to control the virus spread.
During this curial period, considering the health and safety of students and teachers their utmost priority, the Haryana government decided to cancel annual examinations.

While talking about Haryana Class 10, 12th Board Exams 2020 Chief Minister stated that due to the lockdown, the Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH) could not conduct the examination for the science subject for Class 10. Now, the results for class 10 students will be declared on the basis of other subjects they appeared in.
Mr Khattar advised people to help in controlling the COVID-19 spread by practicing social distancing during the upcoming festivals as well including Baisakhi.
