The Madras high court ordered the school education department to begin TN HSC, class 12 board examination 30 minutes late. The order is for the examination to be held today i.e. March 24. The HC took this decision in favor of students and parents traveling from far off places. It would help the parents and students get more time to reach examination centres.
The TN HSC exam scheduled for March 24 will now begin at 10:30 am and end by 1:30 pm. While directing the change in exam timing, a Division Bench of Justice M M Sundresh and Krishnan Ramaswamy stated that candidates and parents facing difficulty in reaching the exam centre advised intimating the same to the respective school principals. Headmasters in consultation with educational authorities concerned for transportation would make sure that the student and parent reach the examination centre on time.
