The Directorate of School Education, Puducherry declared the students from class 1 to class 11 as ‘ALL PASS’.

Amid the outbreak of novel coronavirus, the government of Puducherry announced that under the strict lockdown all-round the country it is not feasible to conduct annual examination for the students of Class I to IX. The World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 a pandemic. The emergency of controlling the rapidly spreading disease is rising every passing day.  In order to control the virus spread, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a strict lockdown for the next 21 days. People are advised to stay inside their homes and follow social distancing. Concerned regarding the safety and health of the students, the Puducherry government decided to cancel the examinations for class I to IX.

According to a reputed source, the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry declared the students from class 1 to class 11 as ‘ALL PASS’. To confirm the news of the postponement of the students from class 1 to 11 to the higher class, the authorities released an official notice. The notice declares that all students up to class IX are pass and promoted to the next class without any annual examination or improvement examination.

The whole country is under a 21-day lockdown. World researchers are not able to find the cure of the pandemic yet and this why the world leaders decided to put the severely infected regions under a lockdown. So far, the total number of positive coronavirus cases are nearly 540. By now, the disease claimed several deaths and controlling its spread is the need of the time for all. People are advised to take all the preventive measures to stop the coronavirus spread.
