The Haryana Board has decided to reduce the syllabus for classes 9 to 12 for the current academic session. Read below to know more.
Haryana Board Syllabus Reduction 2020-21: Three days after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) rationalised the syllabus for classes 9 to 12 for the academic year 2020-21 by up to 30 per cent, the Haryana Government has now decided to do the same for the current academic session. In order to make up for the academic loss student faced due to the closure of schools because of the coronavirus outbreak, the Haryana government has decided to reduce the syllabus of Classes 9 to 12 in the current academic session. Education Minister Kanwar Pal said that the government has instructed the Board of School Education to form a panel in coordination with the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Gurgaon, to work out modalities for it.
"If the COVID-19 situation continues like this and schools don't open in such a scenario in the coming weeks, the state government may contemplate giving tablets (computers) to students of classes 9th to 12th of government schools," he said. Any such decision has to be taken in future it will be taken keeping in view the state's economic situation, he added.
The reduced HBSE 10th Syllabus 2021 and HBSE 12th syllabus 2021 will help students to prepare for HBSE 10th Board Exam 2021 and HBSE 12th Board Exam 2021.
The government will be reducing the syllabus keeping in mind the current coronavirus situation and helping students not feel under any kind of burden or mental pressure, the minister said.
It was a major factor taken into consideration when the decision was taken, which will be applicable to all schools that are affiliated to the board. The syllabus which is being taught online by the teachers through different modes will also be included in the syllabus.
HBSE 10th result 2020 was scheduled to be announced on June 8, 2020. However, the release of the BSEH 10th results 2020 got postponed as per the government’s direction to conduct the BSEH 10th Science examination. The Class 10 Students who appeared for the HBSE class 10 board exams 2020 must know that HBSE will publish the HBSE Matric Results 2020 on the Board’s official website i.e. results.bseh.org.in.
