The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Class 10 and 12 pending board exams in July. Union Health Minister has raised his concerns and requested the MHRD ministry to ensure proper hygiene protocol is followed at exam centers.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has raised his concerns over the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducting pending exams in July. He has also requested MHRD to make comprehensive arrangements at the exam centres to ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene protocol “so that the COVID-19 does not spread in any way”.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) had released the CBSE Class 10 Datesheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Datesheet 2020 yesterday, i.e. May 18, 2020. As per the date sheet, the CBSE will conduct exams for Classes 10 and 12 from July 1 to July 15, 2020. The CBSE will be conducting the exam for only 29 main subjects.
The Education Minister had earlier announced that CBSE 10th examinations will be conducted only for North-East Delhi students.
The Board will conduct the CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th exam from 10.30 a.m to 1.30 p.m.

In his tweet addressed to the HRD Minister, Harsh Vardhan wrote, “I request HRD Ministry to ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene protocol at the exam centers.” He also added, “I convey my best wishes to students and hope for a bright future for them.”
While replying to his concerns, the Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted that "Guidelines have been issued to the CBSE in this direction.” He added, “The guidelines issued by the Health Ministry will be followed at every cost.”
