The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education will be conducting the pending class 10 and 12 exams in June. Check the details below.
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced that it will be conducting the class 10th and 12th pending exams on June 8, 2020.
Earlier, the Board had announced that it will be conducting the exam for HPBOSE 12th Geography paper only. The Board had also said that the exams for computer science, yoga, and vocational courses will be given a go-by, and marks in these subjects will be awarded on the basis of the scores obtained in compulsory papers. The board has released revised HPBOSE 12th Date Sheet 2020 for pending papers.
Earlier, the HPBOSE had postponed the Class 12 exams scheduled from March 23 to March 26, 2020, due to the coronavirus in the country, followed by a nationwide lockdown in the country.
Later, the board had decided to conduct the exam for Geography subject only as the number of students opted for this subject is less in comparison to the other optional subjects. There are a total of 4,335 examinees for Geography.
This year, the HPBOSE 10th Board exams were conducted between March 6 and concluded on March 19, 2020. The Board will be conducting Class 10 exams for Music (Instrumental) and Home Science subjects for students with special needs of some schools. With this, the Class 12 exams of Hindi and History subjects of some students will also be organized.
HPBOSE has already started the evaluation work for HPBOSE Class 10 and 12 answer sheets.
The Board has already released instructions regarding paper evaluations and grace marks which was issued by the paper setter.
With the evaluation process initiated, the Board is expected to announce the HPBOSE 10th Result 2020 and HPBOSE 12th Result 2020 in the last week of June.
The Board has also released the guidelines to be followed during the examination:
- It is mandatory/ compulsory for every student and invigilator to wear a facemask.
- Students must reach their exam centre at least 30 minutes ahead of the commencement of the exam.
- Students will be able to enter the exam hall only after washing hands with sanitizer or soap and water.
- They all must have to follow social distancing in the examination hall.
