This year around 3.8 lakh students appeared for JAC Class 10 Board examinations 2020 and 2.8 lakh students appeared for JAC Class 12 Board examination 2020 in the state.

Jharkhand Academic Council, JAC started the evaluation process for Class 10 and Class12 board exams 2020 answer sheets in the state from May 28 onwards. The evaluation process started after a long delay of almost a month due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by multiple nationwide lockdowns imposed to contain the virus. Students who appeared for JAC 10th Board Exams 2020 and JAC 12th Board Exams 2020 must know that the JAC 10th Result 2020 and JAC 12th Result 2020 is expected to be out in the first week of July on the official site jac.jharkhand.gov.in.

According to the reports, around 60 percent of the 10000 evaluators came down to check JAC 10th and JAC 12th board exam papers on the first day of evaluation in 67 centers across the state. The officials of the Board are hoping that the number would increase in the coming days.

While addressing the media, JAC secretary M K Singh said, “Although the status report from each district on the turnout of evaluators is awaited, overall it looked satisfactory on Day-1.” Though the live streaming on the evaluation process took a hit, due to the non-availability of technicians. The centre in Ranchi was the only centre to be able to manage to set up.

Mr Singh further added that the JAC is taking various measures against the COVI19 outbreak that involves following proper cleanliness protocols. JAC officials are strictly following the precautionary and are using masks, sanitizers, gloves, etc.to control the spread of the contagious virus. Mr Singh said, “There have been absenteeism and we are expecting it to improve in a couple of days. If all goes well, we are eyeing to publish the results on the first week of July.”
