JKBOSE Class 11 result 2021: Board declares mass promotion of Class 11 students

The official notice released by JKBOSE said, “The decision has been taken due to paucity of the time left for conducting forthcoming annual examinations in Kashmir division, winter zone areas of Jammu division."

JKBOSE Class 11 Results 2021: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBoSE) has declared all students as pass, i.e. mass promotion for Class 11 students (Private/Bi-Annuals 2021) of the Kashmir division/ winter zone areas of the Jammu division. According to the official notice released by the Board, Class 11 students of the Jammu and Kashmir Board will be promoted to JKBOSE Class 12 based on the previous year’s result. The exams for Class 11 were scheduled to start from today, September 23, 2021.

The official notice released by JKBOSE said, “The decision has been taken due to paucity of the time left for conducting forthcoming annual examinations in Kashmir division, winter zone areas of Jammu division."

The Board further stated that allowance to appear for Class 12 board exams will be given to the promoted students of JKBOSE Class 11 students if they are admitted in a school and maintain a minimum of 66 per cent attendance in offline or online classes held during the current academic session. Meanwhile, students who applied for special subject/ additional subjects and other categories in Class 11 exams will also be promoted as a one-time exception, however, they should have qualified for the main examination in all compulsory subjects. The notice further said that “The promotion of candidates shall be subject to the condition that if any candidate/s is found to be not eligible for appearing in the 2020-21 examination, the board has the right to cancel their promotion without any prior notice.”
