Manipur Board released the Manipur Board HSLC Results 2020. Class 10 students can check their 10th board results on the Board’s official result website i.e. manresults.nic.in.

Manipur Board of Secondary Education (BOSEM) declared the Manipur Board HSLC Result 2020 for BOSEM Class 10 board exam 2020 today i.e. June 15, 2020. Reshmi Nandeibam of Pitambara English School secured the top spot with 579 marks. The Class 10 Board Results of Manipur recorded an overall pass percentage of 65.34%. Students who appeared for the Manipur HSLC Board Exams must note that Manipur Board Class 10 Results 2020 are released on the Board’s official result website i.e. manresults.nic.in. Manipur Class 10 exam also known as Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate exams were held from February 17 to March 5, 2020, according to Manipur HSLC Board Exam Dates. The Board had released the Manipur Class 10 answer keys for all subjects on March 11.

Manipur HSLC Results 2020: Pass Percentage, Toppers and other details 

Manipur HSLC Results 2020 recorded a pass percentage of 65.34% According to the official, a total of 38,664 candidates, of which 19,824 are girls and 19,040 boys, appeared in the class 10 exam this year, which were concluded on March 5. Last year, a record-high number of students – 74.69 per cent passed the class 10 exam. To pass, one needs 35 per cent.

Meanwhile, the board will be conducting the remaining class 12 papers in July. The board had to postpone the two papers scheduled on March 20 and 23 due to coronavirus lockdown, the exams will now be conducted on July 6 and 7, 2020.

65.34% clear Manipur HSLC exam 

Out of 38,664 candidates who had appeared in the exam, a total of 65.34 per cent students cleared the class 10th exam successfully. The students can check the results through the websites- bosem.in, manresults.nic.in.

Earlier, the board already started hosting on its official web portal that Manipur HSLC Results 2020 will be out soon. Students who appeared for the 10th board exams of Manipur can check their Manipur Class 10 results 2020 using the roll numbers mentioned on their Manipur HSLC Admit Card 2020.

While the Manipur HSLC Board Exams ended way before the imposition of the COVID-19 lockdown, the Manipur Board Class 12 board exams 2020 got postponed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. According to the revised Manipur 12th Time Table 2020, the Manipur Board Class 12 remaining exams will be held on July 6 and July 7. The evaluation process of Manipur HSLC Board Exams answer sheets begun in April. This year, the board exam results are delayed due to lockdown in the country. The delays and postponement in 10th board result and 12th board results 2020 already showed that Manipur board students will receive the Manipur HSLC Results 2020 first. However, the Class 12 students would have to wait a little longer for Manipur Class 12 results 2020. Last year, the total number of students appeared was 37,138 out of which 27,740 students were announced qualified. The overall pass percentage in 2019 was 74.69 percent. Earlier, the Manipur government promoted all Class 11 students of state schools to the next class as conducting annual exams amid the novel coronavirus outbreak was not feasible.

2. Click on the link ‘Manipur HSLC Result 2020.’
3. Enter the required information such as roll number and date of birth
4. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Manipur HSLC Result: Rechecking/Re-evaluation

If the student is not satisfied with the Manipur 10th board exam marks awarded in the BSEM HSLC Result 2020, s/he can opt for either rechecking or revaluation. There is a difference between the two. In re-checking, an entire answer sheet is assigned to an independent examiner for checking. At the same time, in reassessment, the marks which are awarded to the student will be recalculated, and the answer sheet will be checked for answers that are under-evaluated or unchecked. The Manipur Board will notify the students about the rechecking/re-evaluation process along with the prescribed fee and the application for the same. 

Manipur 10th Results 2020: Manipur HSLC Compartmental Examination

If a student fails to achieve the minimum passing marks required to pass the Manipur HSLC Examination, there is another chance to score well in the Manipur 10th Board Exams 2020. S/he can give supplementary or compartmental exams for the subjects in which the student failed to secure qualifying marks. The Manipur HSLC compartment exams will most likely be conducted in June, and the Manipur HSLC compartment results will be declared in July. The students will be informed about the same on the manresult.nic.in website. The students who want to improve their scorecard can also apply for the supplementary exams.

What after Manipur HSLC Result 2020? 

As the Manipur Board Class 10 Results are out, students should decide on the stream they want to choose ahead. There are three streams, Science, Commerce and Arts. The streams should be selected according to one’s interest and aptitude. One should not be influenced by peer, parental or societal pressure while choosing an ideal stream. However, students should consult their parents and teachers before choosing a stream not to make a rash decision.
