MHRD Launches various handbooks prepared by CBSE amid COVID-19 lockdown 4.0

Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank launched various handbooks prepared by the CBSE. 

Human Resource and Development Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ launched multiple handbooks prepared by the Central Board of Secondary Education amid COVID-19 lockdown 4.0. On the release of these CBSE Handbooks by the HRD Minister, the Board Secretary, Anurag Tripathy said, "In continuation of 14 Handbooks released in October-November 2019, the HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal released handbooks".

CBSE 21 Century Skills Handbook

The Handbook on 21 Century skills is prepared to help individuals develop and learn different life skills to cope with adversities. While launching the handbook, Mr Pokhriyal said, “'21st Century Skills: A Handbook' by CBSE

CBSE Handbook for Principals

This handbook is released for principals to help them get acquainted with their roles and pursue their job with excellence. The handbook is also a guide for principal that unravels the day-to-day areas of work and have answers many to queries related to the professional lives of CBSE school principals. It also contains a self-evaluation framework for self-assessment by Principals.

While launching this handbook, the education minister said, “A principal is the backbone of a school.

CBSE has created a comprehensive handbook for their principals to help them get acquainted with their roles & pursue excellence in their job.Let this handbook be the guiding light!”

Self-Learning Material for Newly Affiliated Schools

CBSE released a detailed self-learning material to make newly affiliated schools to introduce them to the working of the Board and make them aware of the systems/workings of the board. The handbook will also assist them in understanding CBSE mandate, requirements, procedures and tasks to be done. While releasing the study material, My Pokhriyal said, “To all the newly #CBSE affiliated schools, CBSE has prepared a detailed self-learning material to inform you about the systems/workings of the board. CBSE Handbook on Cyber Safety

The handbook on Cyber Safety for students aims making youngsters more aware, better informed and responsible in navigating the cyberspace.It not only covers all aspects of literacy and safety but also aim to engage students in learning about responsible online behaviour, their rights, freedoms and responsibilities along with basic awareness about personal security and safety. The handbook also contains ready resources for students to go to, in order to get tools and material to learn more about digital literacy and online safety.
