Union Education Minister conducted an interactive session through his official social media handles on Facebook and Twitter today, i.e. December 22 at 4 pm. As informed by the minister earlier, the webinar was conducted to interact with the teachers regarding the upcoming CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exams 2021. While addressing the teachers in a live session today, the Education Minister stated that CBSE board exams 2021 will be conducted in an offline mode. The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said this while attending to the queries and suggestions of teachers across the country. The minister also added that CBSE 10th Board Exams 2021 and CBSE 12th Board Exams 2021 will not be held until February 2021.

Considering the difficulties students face while appearing for online classes in remote areas, it will be difficult for the students to take online exams, the minister said. "Many CBSE schools are in rural areas.
Hence, the upcoming 2021 exams cannot be held online," Mr Pokhriyal added. While the minister made this clear that CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exams will not be held until February 2021, the minister also stated that a decision regarding the CBSE 2021 exam dates will be taken by the government later, he added.
