  1. Previous years’ question papers: The importance of solving RBSE 12th question papers cannot be emphasized enough. Hence, if a student wants to ace in Biology exam, they must solve questions (at least past 10 years). Solving these papers would help in identifying the type of questions repeated over the years; this further helps in managing time during the exam.
  2. Practise diagrams: The biology exam has theory with numerous diagrams, so a student while preparing for Biology should practice the diagrams multiple times. This would help in remembering the labelling and the entire structure of all the diagrams.
  3. Memorize terminology: Write down and memorise every scientific term or other terminologies of the subject. This would help in memorising keywords and fetching more marks during exams.
  4. Complete the basics: It is very important for every student to know the basic concepts. Hence, focus on syllabus and refer to NCERT books to clarify and understand the basic concepts. This helps in boosting the confidence to solve every question in the examination.
  5. Balanced preparation: As there are four sections in the Biology paper of Class 12, it is advised to all the students that they should prepare for examination in such a way that they know each and every question irrespective of the way it is asked.
  6. Time management: Students must solve the paper in a limited time period and give equal time to each and every question. Do not write irrelevant information in any answer; this would waste precious time during exam. Keep in mind that all of the answers require the same amount of time to solve in order to complete the question paper within the stipulated time.
  7. Organised answers: It is very important to have organised answers. The examiner would be checking many copies; unorganised answers might irritate them. Therefore, the answers must include a proper introduction and also, try to write answers in separate paragraphs with a proper conclusion.
  8. A proper timetable: It is very important to prepare a timetable and allocate time to each and every chapter. Always remember to start with the underprepared or tough chapters. Also, include practising diagrams between memorising the chapters to break the monotony of the subject.
  9. Do not procrastinate: It is really important not to procrastinate during preparation. With a few days left, a student simply cannot afford to procrastinate. Focus on the subject and try to cover all the topics so that time should be given for revising each topic.
  10. No to stress: During examination, every student panics; this increases stress and reduces concentration, which in turn waste a lot of time of many students. Remember, time is precious during examination, avoid discussing progress of preparation with others. Try to meditate and take walks while studying to do away with boredom. These activities helps in calming the mind and enhancing the concentration
