The Rajasthan Board will be reducing the syllabus for the current academic session. The decision on the same will be made soon.
After CBSE and CISCE, now Rajasthan Board has announced that it has decided to reduce the syllabus for this academic year, considering the academic loss student have faced in the past few months. due to the closure of schools in the state because of the coronavirus outbreak. State Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra tweeted that the decision was taken and the same has been directed to the board and Rajasthan State Council of Education Research and Teaching (RSCERT) have been directed in this regard.
"Due to corona, working days have reduced for schools and hence keeping in mind students' interests, the Secondary Education Directorate has directed Secondary Education Board, Ajmer and RSCERT Udaipur in this regard. A final decision will be taken very soon," the minister tweeted.
Earlier, CBSE had reduced 30% of its syllabus for the upcoming academic year 2020-21 for Classes 9 to 12. The Board has decided to reduce certain topics from each subject. The Board faces serious criticism for removing the chapters in an ideologically driven move. CBSE and the Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank later issued a clarification that the topics which have been removed from the syllabus are a one-time measure only. The Board also cleared that the topics which have been deleted will still be taught in the class, however, they will not hold any weightage in the board exams.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has declared the. RBSE 12th Results 2020 Science Stream . The overall pass percentage continued to remain over 90 per cent for RBSE class 12th Board exam for science stream, however, there has been a dip from last year. Yash Sharma has toppe the RBSE class 12 science exams with 95.60 per cent marks.
