TBSE Board Exams 2020: Tripura 10th, 12th pending papers postponed again

This is for the second time, the TBSE Board Exams 2020 are postponed due to the nationwide lockdown. Last month, the Tripura government rescheduled papers of the postponed TBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2020 and the TBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2020. The TBSE 10^th and TBSE 12^th pending board papers were scheduled to be held from June 5 to June 11.

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) decided to postpone the pending papers of Tripura Class 10 and 12 board exams again. Earlier, the pending papers for TBSE 10th Board Exams 2020 and TBSE 12th Board Exams 2020 were scheduled to be conducted from June 5. Now, considering the ongoing health emergency that emerged due to the outbreak of the pandemic, the government decided to postpone the TBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2020 and the TBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2020.

The TBSE 10^th and TBSE 12^th pending board papers were scheduled to be held from June 5 to June 11.

On Monday i.e. June 1, Tripura Board of Secondary Education President Bhabatosh Saha said, “We were supposed to conduct board examinations of pending papers of Class 10 and 12 from June 5. But, we have postponed the exams again due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Prior to the first lockdown, the board examinations of Class 10 New Course syllabus were over barring few subjects of Class 10 and 12 old syllabus. We are yet to decide the next schedule for these papers.”

A total of 27,142 candidates were enrolled for TBSE Class 12 Board Examinations out of which 8,749 candidates are supposed to appear for examinations of the pending papers. These students are supposed to sit for a total of nine TBSE Board Exams 2020 which are Sanskrit and Statistics papers on June 5, Economics on June 6, Psychology on June 8, Arabic and Music on June 9, Geography on June 10 and Home Management and Home Nursing and Nutrition on June 11.

For TBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2020, only 309 out of a total of 39,917 candidates would appear for the pending examinations that included Physical Science on June 5 and Life Science on June 6.

The TBSE President didn’t comment regarding the declaration of the TBSE 10th Result 2020 and TBSE 12th Result 2020. However, with the further postponement of the TBSE 10^th Board Exam 2020 and TBSE 12^th Board Exam 2020, it is expected that the Tripura Board Class 10 and 12 students would have to wait a little more for TBSE 10th Result 2020 and TBSE 12th Result 2020.
