TN Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2020 time table released; check details here

Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan has today announced the time table for the Class 10 Board exams along with the exam dates for pending Class 11 and 12th exams.

Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan has today announced the time table for the Class 10 Board exams along with the exam dates for pending Class 11 and 12th exams.

As per the released TN 10th timetable 2020, the TN Class 10 Board exams will be conducted from June 1 to June 12. 

The Education Minister has also announced the exam dates for Class 11 Chemistry paper which was postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus as well as the exam dates for the remaining Tamil Nadu 12^th / TN HSC board exams.

In Tamil Nadu, while the HSE first year (11th) and HSE second year (12th) exams started in March the first week, the SSLC (10th) exams were scheduled to be conducted by end of the month. According to the Tamilnadu 10th Timetable 2020, the class TN 10^th board examinations were scheduled to begin on March 27 and conclude on April 13. However, it was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

TN 11th, 12th Public Exam Time Table

The education minister also announced that the Class 11 Chemistry which had to be postponed owing to the lockdown will be held on June 2.

While the TN Class 12 exams were concluded in the state, the students were not able to write their last paper which was scheduled to be conducted on March 24 owing to the restrictions in place and the State Government had announced that the exam will be held again for them. Talking about the Class 12 pending exam, the education minister said, the paper of chemistry, accounting, geography would be conducted again on June 4, 2020 morning.

Students may please note that the official date sheet would also be released soon on the official website dge.tn.gov.in. All students are advised to check the Public Exam Dates once they are released online.

According to the reports, approximately 9.45 lakh students were expected to sit for the TN SSLC exam in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
