Telangana government has reduced the number of question papers in TS SSC Class 10th to six for the upcoming academic session. Also, Urdu has been added as a Second Language.
TS SSC Board Exams 2022: The Telangana government has decided to modify the exam pattern for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC), or TS SSC Board Exams 2022. Earlier, TS SSC exams had eleven question papers. However, now the government has reduced the number of question papers in TS SSC Class 10th to six for the upcoming academic session. Also, Urdu has been added as a Second Language. Now, TS SSC students have the option to appear for Urdu as well along with Telugu and Hindi.
According to a tweet posted by ANI through its official Twitter handle, “Telangana government has decided to have only six question papers instead of 11 for the ensuing SSC exams and including Urdu as a second language for the academic year 2021-22.”
Amid the ongoing pandemic situation, the decision to reduce the number of question papers for TS SSC exam pattern 2022 has been made keeping in mind the constraints the students have been facing due to the COVID circumstances and their associated reasons including hassles of online classes, unavailability of internet and device to attend online classes, etc.
The government also implemented the six-paper pattern, one paper for each subject, for the 2020-21 board examinations. The Telangana SSC examination 2020 was held for a total of 600 marks, including 480 for the Board Exam and 120 for internals (average marks of two FAs - Formative Assessments). There were more choices in the question paper in 2020-21 and the prescribed time was increased by half an hour, from 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes.
