Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is all set to commence the evaluation process of UP Board class 10 and 12 exams in orange zones from today i.e. May 12.

Talking about the commencement of the evaluation work of UP Board 10th and UP Board 12th  marksheets, the board official said, “While the evaluation process in the green zones was started last week, it will begin in most districts from tomorrow. We expect scrutinising of the answer sheets will be completed by May-end.”

According to the reports, the evaluation will be conducted in the 36 districts of Ghaziabad, Hapur, Baghpat, Basti, Budaun, Sambhal, Auraiya, Shamli, Sitapur, Bahraich, Kannauj, Azamgarh, Mainpuri, Shravasti, Banda, Jaunpur, Etah, Kasganj, Sultanpur, Prayagraj, Jalaun, Mirzapur, Etawah, Pratapgarh, Ghazipur, Gonda, Mau, Bhadohi, Unnao, Pilibhit, Balrampur, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Hardoi, Kaushambi.

However, the evaluation process of the remaining 19 districts will begin once the lockdown is lifted. Talking about the release of the UP Board 10th Result 2020 and UP Board 12th Result 2020, the board official further added, “The results can be announced between June-end or July first week as it will not take more than two weeks to complete the evaluation process in the districts fall under red zones.”

According to the data released by the board during UP Board examinations, a total of 56,89,622 candidates registered for UP Board class 12 and UP Board class 10 exams this year. In order to prevent academic loss of the students amid COVID-19 lockdown, the state government also started providing online classes through WhatsApp, and virtual classes through Doordarshan (DD). A total of 42.56 lakh students are taking these online classes.
