UP Board exams 2021: Over 22,000 schools update information to be considered as exam centres

Schools in UP have updated their information online to be considered as examination centres. Read to know more.

As many as 22,172 schools out of 27,823 schools which will be a part of UP Board 2021 examinations have updated their information online to be considered as examination centres. The information updated includes infrastructure details as well as the resources available with them for conducting UP Board 10th and UP Board 12th examinations. The details have been updated on the official website of UPMSP by December 5.

While speaking about the updated information, UP Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla said that the remaining 5,651 schools haven't considered the need to update any information basis the information provided last year. He also mentioned that teams framed will be undertaking physical verification of information which has been provided by the schools by December 20, 2020, on behalf of District Magistrates.

The exam centres will be allocated online. A committee has been formed under the SDMs in Prayagraj, UP, in all the tehsils of the district to verify the facilities in the schools. senior UP Board official stated that after the inspection the committees will submit their report to the district committee and the members of the committee include the Tehsildar, Assistant Engineer, Member of rural engineering department along with the assistant district inspector of schools or principals of government intermediate college. The process will be followed by all the 75 districts of UP.
