If a student successfully qualifies the Common Entrance Test, he/she is eligible for admission to the respective course. Based on the CET marks, professional colleges in India admit candidates. The competition level of these entrance exams high and only the deserving candidates get selected. Given below is the list of CET exams in India for various courses.

Q:   How many months are required to prepare for MHT CET exam?

A:

The time-period required to complete the MHT CET preparation varies. Every student has their own pace of study. Ideally, 3-month time is good enough for completing the MHT CET preparation. Students who have started preparing from class 11 or 12 can easily prepare for MHT CET in 6 months considering the topics of CET syllabus have already been studied in class 11 and 12.

MHT CET preparation is most effective with class 11 and 12 as almost 90-95 percent topics are similar in both exams. This way students can easily complete the entire MHT CET syllabus as well as syllabus of class 11 and 12. After the board exams, students get 2-3 month time where they can focus entirely on MHT CET.

Students who have started late for the MHT CET exam can make a 6-month plan where in the first three months they have to focus on revising the syllabus studied in class 11 and 12. In the next two months’ focus on solving questions of MHT CET and analyzing the mistakes being made, if any. The last one month should be focused on solving mock tests and MHT CET previous year question papers

Q:   How can I crack MHT CET 2025?

A:

Students can easily crack MHT CET exam if they make a study plan and follow a strategy. The first step to clear MHT CET 2025 is to understand the syllabus and exam pattern clearly. Check which topics are asked in the exam and what are the types of questions. Identify the MHT CET topics that are similar to class 11 and 12 and start studying them along with the school classes.

The second advice is to make a time table for your study. Ideally, 6-8 hours of study is sufficient for MHT CET. Students should choose a time which suits them best. They can study in night or morning or both. It is important that they give at least 3 hours daily specifically for MHT CET preparation.

Selecting the right study materials/books is also very important for MHT CET preparation. It is advised that students begin their preparation by studying the NCERT books thoroughly and then advance to additional books.

The most important advice in clearing the MHT CET is not to over-burden yourself with the preparation. Study regularly but also spare some time for your hobbies.

Q:   Which book should I refer to prepare for MHT CET exam?

A:

Below are provided here a few of the MHT CET best books for all three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You can check out the books and prepare for the exam effectively.

MHT CET

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Government of Maharashtra conducts MHT CET exam every year. Based on it, students are selected for admission in various government as well as private institutions situated in the state of Maharashtra. Candidates successfully qualifying the entrance exam offer admission in Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy programs.Exam mode of MHT CET is online, CBT mode.

Q:   What is the difficulty level of MHT CET 2024 exam?

A:

The difficulty level of MHT CET is medium. The questions asked in MHT CET is similar to the difficulty level of class 12 board exams. Students preparing for class 12 can easily crack MHT CET with a little extra effort. The syllabus of MHT CET is also similar to class 11 and 12 Maharashtra board which is an advantage for students planning to appear in MHT CET.

Q:   What is the difficulty level of MHT CET?

A:

As per the Maharashtra CET Cell, the difficulty level of MHT CET is similar to JEE Main. The exam conducting authority has stated that the exam will be quite similar to JEE Main in terms of difficulty level. Additionally, the difficulty level of Biology has been at par with NEET UG exam.

Therefore, it can be concluded that the difficulty level of MHT CET is moderate to difficult, with a slight edge towards being on the harder side. However, it's important to note that the actual difficulty level may vary based on the individual candidate's preparation and familiarity with the exam pattern and syllabus.

Also, the syllabus of MHT CET is similar to class 11 and 12 syllabus. However, the questions asked in MHT CETs are tricky and required in-depth understanding of the subjects. Students need to have conceptual understanding of each topics to get a good score in the exam. Students who studies NCERT and have good understanding of topics can get a decent score in MHT CET.

Q:   How to prepare for MHT CET from Class 11 and 12?

A:

Starting the MHT CET preparation from class 11 or 12 is the best time as MHT CET syllabus consists of topics from class 11 and 12 and students can easily cover all the topics along with school. Students can begin by checking the topics that is covered in both school and MHT CET and give special attention to them. For all three subjects, study NCERT and also take help from reference books. Understand the concepts thoroughly and solve numerical problems. To crack MHT CET along with class 12, students should devote at least 2-3 hours for CET beside class 12 studies. Regularly solve MHT CET mock test and solve previous year question papers to evaluate the performance.

Q:   How to crack MHT CET in first attempt?

A:

Clearing the MHT CET exam in first attempt is not a difficult task. If we see the year over year statistics, the ratio of students who clear MHT CET in first attempt is high in comparison to students who dropped a year after class 12. One thing which makes it easy to clear MHT CET with class 12 is that students are in regular touch of most CET syllabus.

To score good marks in MHT CET in the first attempt, it is advised that students study class 11 and 12 topics thoroughly, clear all the concepts and solve mock test papers. NCERT books which students study in class 11 and 12 are the best books for MHT CET preparation. Students must study NCERT properly and solve all the questions in the book and do not memorize the concepts as some students do.

Q:   Is MHT CET difficulty level similar to JEE Mains?

A:

The difficulty level of MHT CET is low in comparison to JEE Mains. Students who have prepared well for JEE Main can score good marks in MHT CET. Also, the syllabus of MHT CET is less in comparison to JEE Mains. In MHT CET, class 12 complete syllabus and only a few topics of class 11 is aksed whereas JEE Mains consists of all complete class 11 and 12 syllabus.

Studednts who are preparring for MHT CET and JEE Mains must check the syllabus and exam pattern of both exams. For MHT CET, NCERT/state board books are the best study material. Also books like RS Aggarwal is also helpful in scoring good marks in MHT CET.
