Centre for Management of Health Services (CMHS) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad invites eligible candidates to apply for the position of ‘Research Assistant’. CMHS is looking for a full-time research assistant to work on healthcare research projects with a focus on analytics and quantitative skills and techniques. The selected candidates will be involved in all stages of the research process and will be expected to work independently within the scope of their responsibilities. The IIM Ahmedabad research assistant position will be offered for one year and will be extended on the basis of the performance.

IIM Ahmedabad Jobs 2020: Research Assistant Role & Responsibilities

The role and responsibilities of the selected candidates include collaborating on research design, conducting data analysis, interpreting results, training other research assistants, and drafting and editing manuscripts and presentations. However, the responsibilities are not limited to these. The candidate must uphold the highest standards of work ethic and scientific integrity.

Past experience in the related roles would be appreciated and preferred. Exposure to healthcare as a sector is a plus but not mandated.

IIM Ahmedabad Research Assistant: Qualification & Qualification

The candidate should preferably hold a PhD/MA/MPhil/M.Sc/MBA/MS/MPH/MTech/MBBS. BS/BStat/B.Tech/B.E. Candidates (from IITs, ISI, IISc, other premier engineering colleges of India) would also be considered. Candidates with quantitative analytical skills and experience in the field of healthcare or related areas would be preferred.  The candidate should have an excellent academic record, good oral and written communication skills, and should be able to work with minimal guidance.
