It is not a perfect college for the students, who are focused in other goals.

Placements: Placements are not good. Even faculties are not good. Many students joined because of NCC, but NCC was removed.

Good infrastructure dissatisfied with faculty. Not conducting fests and events is not good.

Placements: Big companies like google, wipro are not visiting our campus since 2019 says college staff. We get scholarship. Internships are available but no proper awareness to students about internship. From last 10 years A. V. college is losing big companies for placements.

I am totally disappointed with the on-campus placements.

Placements: The placement cell is very poor. The great failure of our college is there is no placement programme for final year students. Their way of teaching is not helpful for higher studies and not useful for a better career.

It is one of the best colleges of commerce, arts and science in Palghar and Thane districts.

Placements: Most of the students did not opt for campus placements, but some of them did. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Reliance and many more visited the college to recruit the students, and the students also got many opportunities to join such companies. The highest salary package offered by the companies was 2.40 LPA which was very good.

There is no hope for the campus placements.

Placements: Only three companies came for the placements to our college and in that 2 are BPO(Genpact and Wipro). Only, 25 students got selected on the campus. The highest package is 1.8 LPA. Only, one IT company came to our college for the campus placement drive(Verizon), but no one selected in that. No internship is offered in our college.

Well-equipped classrooms with very good environment, but lacking in the talented faculty.

Placements: The placements here are nothing much. They include only the BPOs. Well, coming to the salary, the highest package was Rs. 1.80 lakhs per annum. They just asked all the students to talk in English for five minutes and later conducted one exam. Even though we have a placement cell, it was not that useful as they didn't provide any communication skills-oriented programs.

Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in our course. The salary packages are decent.

I don't know what is going on in the college, and it has got A grade by NAAC.

Placements: I was from B.Sc., and we usually don't get placements. Even in my batch, no one got placed on campus as they were asking for a 3-year agreement. This is the reason why students are not willing to join the companies even if they get placed.

Review of A.V. College of Arts, Science and Commerce.

Placements: Recently over 45 members got placed in well-known MNC companies named Ryan Tax, Genpact, Thompson Reuters and Fast Company. The average salary package offered is 2.8 LPA. Compared to last year, this year placement ratio has increased to 40%. As per the placement department, more companies tend to visit the campus next month.

There is a good infrastructure, but students should think that they can handle this college once.

Placements: In our college, there are a lot of placements with low salary packages. Most of the computer science background students get selected in campus interviews. There is a placement cell office that helps students to improve their skills. English department also supports students, and before 2 months of selection, our staff members will give notifications and training to students. Very few students will get selected or only 10% of students. The highest salary offered is Rs. 24,000 per month.
