A brief review of Acharya Institute of Technology concerning MBA.

Placements: The placement opportunities are bad with the lower packages. The average package offered is around 4 lakhs per annum. No assistance from the college regarding the internships, placement training is just a show. 2 out of 10 students get placed. Very few companies visit to recruit HR and Finance people

There are no placements, and most of the faculty members are rookies.

Placements: I am 2016 passed out, but still, I didn't get a job. In the college, there will be the placements for the namesake. The placements are only for one or two people. They conduct the placements for every department, and there will be the eligibility criteria. So, according to me, there are no placements in this college. Don't invest lakhs of money and waste your time and money. It's better to stay in the home and do business using the investment money.

My college is a hefty business chain

Placements: Companies do visit the college, but most of them come with lower packages and also, the joining letter sent by the companies are quite late. Symmetrically, the placement department members are like chameleons as they may change from their words anytime. Placement coordinators from the departments are also a little unaware of the real corporate system. The training for the placement is lame, though. The placements procured by students are mainly because of their own efforts. The college denies to...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the lack of industry exposure and the infrastructure provided

Placements: Placements are pretty bad for automobile. Only 3 members got placed in the relevant company and 6 members got placed in IT companies. This was out of 60 members. The companies which visited were Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and a few other IT companies. The preference for automobile was the least.

Truth of the Acharya Institute of Technology

Placements: The placement is very poor. Out of 170 students, only 2-3 students get placed from the college. Nowadays they are calling the companies for tech-process. The average salary can be expected as 10k if you get placed. Once they had called a company which was offering 4k for 3 months and the next 6 month as 8k. The course fee for the non-Karnataka student is approximately 5 lakhs. So I don't think the college meets the expectation.

Not completely satisfied with my college because of faculty members.

Placements: For our course, there is no scope for placement and our department doesn't give much preference to placement as no essential training is provided and only two companies come for placements and select three to four candidates only. No core companies come for placements from our course but for other courses, companies come for placements.

College for widening your horizon.

Placements: Lots of opportunities for placement. Not many core companies come to the college but the college provides a platform for AMCAT through which you can seek placement in core companies like Amazon, Oracle, HP etc. The placement cell provides you update about pool campus & other exams happening.

It's an average college, but the fees is very high.

Placements: Placements are average in Acharya, as 10-15 companies come in a year but most of them are mass recruiters. All the branches (IS, CS, EEE, ECE, Mechanical and Civil) are allowed to appear in the placement drive. Some of them are Infosys, HP, Cognizant, IGATE, Wipro etc. Basically, placement is good for IS and CS students. They get chances to appear for even better companies like Flipkart, Benz etc.

It is a great college when it comes to the infrastructure, but the ground reality is different. You will surely enjoy the environment and the campus but it has an under built library with a small collection of books. Sometimes you can’t even get the prescribed books, but the departments are working hard to get this issue fixed The faculty is good and there is a good scope for getting placed.

The college infrastructure is beautiful with a 120-acre campus. Placements for IS, CS, EEE, EC branches are way better than Mechanical, Automobile, Civil etc. Its average placement package is rupees 3.25 lakhs per annum. Prescribed by VTU University, the faculty members are okay. This means the quality of professors is good but there are some poor teachers are also there to ruin your future. Overall, it's an above average college comparatively.

The college is located in the rural part of Bangalore in Soldevanahalli near Heseraghatta main road. It has got 12 engineering departments. Acharya is affiliated to VTU,Belgaum. (Visveswarya Technological University). It will be a deemed university. The infrastructure is awesome and it has a green environment. You can opt for CS or IT branches here. Mechanical Engineering also offers a good scope here. The faculty members are very good in Mechanical, CS and IS departments.

There's much harassment in college. The faculty is not good and does not have the knowledge about particular subjects that they are teaching. The fee is very high for such a college. Only the college campus is good. You should think twice before getting into this college. Because even placement service after graduation is not good.

The college has an awesome study environment and magnificent architecture. It is a huge campus with a 120-acre land area. It has hostel facilities both for boys and girls. I loved every bit of it. Every year the Acharya yearly event known as Acharya Habba is organised by the management which is the best part and some fun filled time for everyone.

The college looks good, but I would say the college is a little expensive.

Placements: No one got placement in my college. Even I wanted a job, but I didn't get a placement in my college. It can be frustrating when we have worked hard and still struggle to secure a job. If we feel that placements at Acharya College, or any college, are not meeting expectations, it's important to look into various factors that might be influencing this situation.

College life is good and offers a plethora of experiences.

Placements: A very low percentage of students get placed. No relevant company approaches the college for placement. 5 students out of a batch of 60 got placed in a relevant field from college. The package received is very low and off-campus placements are better comparatively. The students often get placed in other fields and companies which have no relevance with their specialization.

Good infrastructure but old curriculum.

Placements: Don't expect a great package in on-campus drive in civil engineering. But if you have good knowledge then you can apply for off-campus placement or prepare for GATE exams. If you are a student of CS IS, ECE then you can expect an average package of 3-4 Lacs.

Placements: Almost 70% of the eligible students got placed.
