Established in 2010, Adventure Flight Education (AFE) is a student-centric academy located at Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is a part of Treasure Coast Flight Training (TCFT), which is mainly based in Stuart, Florida (USA). The Adventure Flight Education has several other branches situated in different cities of India, including Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, all comes under TCFT.

Currently, the institute offers Commercial Pilot License Training in the field of aviation. Under this programme, students are taken to the campus of TCFT, Florida for training purposes. TCFT has a huge campus conducive to carry out all types of flight training, and offers air-conditioned classrooms, state-of-the-art board desks and pre-flight facilities. It has unlimited internet access which helps in getting an accurate current weather data. TCFT uses Witham Field airport, located in Stuart (Florida), which has three runways for safer takeoffs and landings. The students are given practical training on diverse fleet of aircrafts, namely Cessna 152’s, 172M’s, 172N’s, 172R’s, 172P’s (with G1000 instrumentation), Piper Archer III’s, Piper Arrow III’s, Seneca I’s and Beech Duchess’.

The instructors of the institute are well-trained have thousands of hours of one-on-one instructions. They follow the stringent curriculum of Cessna Pilot Training. TCFT also offers accommodation facilities to the students.

Adventure Flight Education Admission Process

Adventure Flight Education offers admission is based on the merit and follows first-cum-first serve process. Interested candidates need to visit the official website and fill the application form in online mode to take admission.

• Aspirants must have cleared Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognised board
• Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission and must be able to read, write and understand English language
• Students are required to have a TSA clearance for pursuing Private, Instrument and Multi-Engine modules
• Aspirants are required to show a third class FAA medical certificate at the time of admission

Adventure Flight Education Courses

Adventure Flight Education offers Commercial Pilot License Training under five modules which are mentioned below:

• Private Pilot: It offers 35 hours of flight time in a Cessna 152 (aircraft), 35 hours of instructor time and 10 hours of ground school time along with course books
• Instrument Rating: As similar to the Private Pilot, it provides 35 hours of flight time in a Cessna 152 (aircraft, 35 hours of instructor and 10 hours of ground school time along with the course material
• Time Building: It offers 120 hours of flight time in Cessna 152 to build time
• Single Engine Commercial Rating: It includes 10 hours of flight time in a piper arrow along with 10 hours of instructor time and course material
• Multi Engine/ Commercial/ Instrument Rating: 25 hours of multi-time in a piper seneca and 25 hours of instructor time
