Poor infrastructure in sports but good in academic with good faculty and good placements overall.
Placements: Placement is overall good. Here there is lot to learn and experience during internship which is not available in other northeastern medical college. In our batch there were 125 students out of which after intern around 30 were working in reputed hospitals in Delhi.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in hostel however in library its available for all. Classrooms are upto the mark. Quality of food serve in mess is below average the variety present is not okay. There is also problem in electricity in hostel sometimes and even scarcity of drinking water during summer.
Faculty: Teacher are well experience and put their best effort to make us well versed with the topic. Its a wonderful campus. Pass percentage is overall good. Its teaches us with modern medical Science. PG students too help the UG students in their academic years.
Other: Events, fest are average here we get to celebrates like college week every year and sports activities are only done in those college week. The infrastructure for sport is poor.

Everything is satisfactory. Time period is long but it's worth it.
Placements: Doctors from agmc goes to many respectful places and receive high salary like 80000 to 120009. Believe me it's worth spending your 5.5 years in agmc I never felt regret taking agmc and MBBS both. You will never feel when your MBBS is passed. After MBBS you may choose your field of interest.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is only available in library. Labs and classrooms are well maintained. Hostel is quiet good you have your own room and well ventilated, good lighting,24 hour electricity and have a common roon, a study room and a tv on 3rd floor. Mess food is also good and you have to pay 3000 per month for that. Canteen is also there. Medical facilities are also good as it's a medical college and have a playground for sports and games.
Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified, knowledgeful and helpful. Overall education is good here and teaching quality is also good. You have to go to hospital to learn everything and that's very helpful and relevant. Semester exams I must say not that hard but you have to study a little to pass. Pass percentage is above 85percentage.
Other: Doctor is respectable post so I chose and I think the best part is it's interesting. I thing everything is perfect in medical but we should get regular vacations also. Events, fest, campus, connectivity, surrounding and extracurricular activities all are okay.

I am highly satisfied because of faculty members, and placements are very good.
Placements: Almost 80-95% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is nearly 12 to 14 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is nearly 6 to 8 LPA and the average salary package offered is 9 to 10 LPA. Maximum government and private hospital jobs are offered to the students. Nearly 90 to 95% of the students got an internship in government hospitals.
Infrastructure: Facilities available here are not that good, and also there is no Wi-Fi on the campus. The library is average, and maximum books are not available in the library. Hostels are not that good, and the mess food is the worst. Medical and sports facilities are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable and also well-qualified. Teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is a bit boring and lengthy. The theoretical part is more than the practical part. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready.

Review of Agartala Government Medical College.
Placements: I am a student of the 10th batch of this college (2014-2015). I got admission to this college through Tripura state medical entrance examination. Around 100 students took admission in the 1st year, and 75% of them were from Tripura, while the rest were from other states. About 90% of the students successfully passed out from MBBS in the year 2019. Many of them completed their internships by March 2020.
Infrastructure: Our college has a 6-storeyed building, which has 5 lecture halls, and they are dedicated to 9 semesters of MBBS course. There is a library with a vast collection of textbooks, national and foreign journals which are updated every month. There are more than 20 Wi-Fi enabled computers. There are separate biochemistry, pathology and microbiology labs where specimens are tested every day. Our college provides separate hostels for boys, girls and nurses, and Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostels. The quality of the food cooked in the mess is pretty good. There are also two canteens to have the refreshment in the evening. Our college has a cricket ground, football field and badminton court along with a gymnasium.
Faculty: There are more than 10 teachers per subject, and they are highly educated and knowledgeable. They are very helpful and always willing to help students. Their teaching quality is very good. After completion of every chapter, they conduct part completion tests (PCT). The course span is over 4.5 years, with a one-year mandatory rotatory internship.
Other: I chose this course because I have a dream to become a good doctor from my childhood and help human beings. I wish that our college should improve the teaching pattern in the MBBS course by rescheduling some subjects in the final year. We organize college week in March for 7 days with cultural programs, sports events, and various other events. Our college is located in the heart of the city, so it has very good transport facilities. It is surrounded by lush green fields. Every year blood donation camps are organized to meet ever-increasing demands of blood in the hospital.
