Tripura NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 3 Registration (Reopened), Dates, Merit List (Postponed), Choice Filling, Seat Allotment Result, Nomination and Reporting

The following table brings the round-wise tentative schedule for Tripura NEET PG counselling 2024. 

Candidates must fulfil certain eligibility requirements for Tripura PG Medical Admission 2024. Some of the eligibility criteria for Tripura NEET PG 2024 counselling have been enlisted below:

Citizenship

• Candidate must be a citizen of India

• He/she should have a domicile in the state of Tripura

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must obtain an MBBS degree from any medical college recognised by MCI/NMC with an MBBS registration certificate from Tripura State Medical Council

• Must have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship within the stipulated schedule as stated by MCI 

• Candidates should be registered with the Medical Council of the State of Tripura or the National Medical Commission

NEET PG qualified

• Candidates should have qualified for NEET PG 2024 with the minimum cutoff percentile. The following table brings the category-wise NEET PG 2024 cutoff percentile. The Ministry of Health has revised the NEET PG 2024 cutoff, which is given in the table below. 

Tripura NEET PG 2024 counselling starts with online registration. Candidates have to pay online registration fee to complete the registration process. Registration is followed by choice declaration, release of merit list, seat allotment result, and reporting. Registration can only be done on the official website. Based on registration, NEET PG marks, eligiblity criteria and other factors, merit list is released. Merit list comprises shortlisted candidates for the counselling rounds. The whole process have been explained stepwise below:

Registration

Registration for Tripura NEET PG counselling has to be done on the official website, dme.tripura.gov.in. Candidates have to submit personal and academic details for the registration process. Candidates are intimated about the successful registration by SMS. Candidates are advised to save password for registration which have to be used many a times including choice filling.

Steps for Tripura NEET PG 2024 Registration

• Visit the official website - https://dmeonline.tripura.gov.in/

• Click on “Applying For” on the homepage and select NEET PG

• Enter NEET PG 2024 Roll Number and Application Number and click on Proceed

• Enter personal and academic details

• Upload documents in the required format

• Pay both refundable and non-refundable (security money) online

• Candidates will get a registration number and password after successful registration

Registration fee

Candidates have to pay both registration and security money to participate in the counselling process. Registration fee is non refundable while security money is refundable.

Candidates who participate in round 2 counselling will have to pay the security deposit. The amount of the security deposit for seat type has been given below:

Merit List

After registration, merit list is released. The merit list is uploaded based on registration, NEET PG marks and other factors. Candidates included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the counselling.

Choice Filling

Candidates have to exercise choices to participate in the Tripura NEET PG counselling round. To fill choices, candidates have to log in with registration ID and password generated at the time of registration. It must be noted that choices must be locked before the deadline otherwise it get automatically locked after the last date given by the counselling authority. No addition or deletion of preference for Tripura NEET PG 2024 choices can be done after the window get locked.

Seat Allotment Result

Seat allotment result will be announced online based on the choice filled by candidates, NEET PG marks, availability of seats, reservation factor and other aspects. The seat allotment result is released separately for each round.

Nomination and Reporting

Selected candidates are eligible to collect nominations from DME within the scheduled date and report to the Principal of the allotted college. Candidates have to submit original certificates and pay fees to secure a seat.

• University MBBS Degree Certificate

• Year-wise mark sheet of MBBS degree

• Internship completion certificates

• Birth certificate for age proof

• SC/ST/PW certificate if applicable
