It is the best private polytechnic college in Jharkhand which gives very good placements.

Placements: The college's placements were very nice. As we know that Jamshedpur is an industrial city and many companies were there. Al Kabir was one of the reputed Polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand. So there were more chances for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, Jindal Steel, Tata Power, Hitachi, and L&T visited our college to hire students.

Overall, the college is good but needs some improvements.

Placements: Placement isn't good enough after the corona period. But before that, the college placements were good and many companies visit our campus only to hire their employees. The incharge of the placement cell is so poor and aged. I don't have hope in him that he can do it.

Overall, the college is good, but faculty members are not.

Placements: Placements are not offered at all branches. About 20% of students get placements yearly. There are very big companies like Tata, Indian Railways, Tech Mahindra, etc. Placements are rich in automobile engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. Computer science and engineering lag behind in placements.

Is going to a Diploma school worth it.

Placements: Generally, many companies provide programming related jobs or software testers. If you get good enough grades or know well about the subject, you can even get a junior engineer job. Some companies even provide jobs that are not related to your field if they think you have enough skill.

Campus placement, faculty members are good.

Placements: Around 30-40% students get campus placement after Diploma from my college. Tata steel, L&T, Aura, etc. are the top companies for my course. Main role are of power system i.e. transmission line and transformer, motor, generator. The highest package is 3 lacs and the lowest is 16 k.

It was my dream college, but reality is far from that.

Placements: The placement records are good, but no placements are being held due to the covid pandemic. It has badly affected our college, to be honest. There were some good companies visiting the college, like Tata Steel, Arora and even ACC, but they don't visit us anymore.

It has a good name, but provides a bad experience.

Placements: No company is visiting the college since the pandemic started. Even if a company visits the campus, they do not allow all of us to sit and apply for them as they intake only top scorers with 75% aggregate. Companies like Tata Steel, Ashoka, ACC, etc., visited our college in the past.

Our college has good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: In the batch of 126 students, only 4 students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting company was L&T. If you are from civil engineering the scope of campus selection is low. For internships, we have to get selected by a company on our own.

Try to look for a government seat before applying here.

Placements: Placement is below average I must say. The packages are not even good as per as today's standard, I mean who wants to work for 9 to 5 for a 10- 14k salary. Even big companies like Tata and Acc visit our campus but the placement records are just pathetic and they don't even consider all the students. There is no such thing as "mass recruitment" in this college.

In this college, the faculty members help in all-around development.

Placements: The placements cell is and unbiased and gives opportunity to everyone. They took regular aptitude tests to increase students' efficiency. Almost 50-60% of students are being placed with an average package. The top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, Tata Steel Longer Products, Jindal Steel, L&T, and many more.

I am dissatisfied with the crowd and campus life.

Placements: Very few students got placed in this college, which I think is not good. There are no placements for some branches. I am a CS student, and I have not heard and seen that this college provides placements for the computer science branch students.

Review of Al Kabir Polytechnic College.

Placements: The placement record is not much great in our college. Companies don't even bother to select students from non-core branches like CS or AM. Some of the good companies like Tata Steel, L&T, ACC, etc., had conducted recruitment in the past, but I rarely hear anything about the recruitment in them, especially for our branch, i.e., CS.

I am not satisfied with the overall experience.

Placements: Although companies do visit our college, they pick very few students and only the high rankers get selected. Companies like Tata and ACC do visit the college, but they usually choose from the core branches like electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or civil engineering.

It is a decent college with good faculty members.

Placements: I did not have any idea about the placement records before, but I saw some of the seniors got placed in good companies like Tata Steel Long Products and ACC. Recruiting companies have been visiting the college more since the lockdown. Roles like junior level supervisor and other staff members are offered to the students.

It is a decent college but not that great.

Placements: The placement cell is active mostly for the 5th or 6th-semester students and for the core branches only. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA in the previous year and is expected to get higher this time. The roles offered are pretty basic, and mostly, the junior-level designation is provided.

I have a quite disappointing experience here.

Placements: The placement record is not that great, but the placement rate has increased during or after the lockdown in 2021. Top companies like Tata Steel or L&T visit the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA, and one should expect a high salary from the companies.

Review of Al Kabir Polytechnic College.

Placements: Placements were good here, but our batch was a bit unlucky as there was a Covid-19 pandemic right after we passed out. Still, our college tried to invite some companies for us, but the condition was very bad. It affected us, and as a result, we are still unemployed. This made our life a bit hard.
