Our college is a good option for an MBA in Kochi and has an excellent campus and facilities.

Infrastructure: Smart classrooms were available. There was a computer lab to ensure computer availability for each student. Wi-Fi was available in both digital and offline libraries. Many books were available in the library. The hostel was neat and clean. Medical facilities were available.

An insight into the life and education at Albertian Institute of Management.
Placements: Placements for both our batch as well as the senior batch was excellent. Around 70% of the students from both the batches were placed in different organizations. More job opportunities were for marketing and HR specializations. Companies like HDFC Securities Ltd., HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Berger Paints etc. recruited students. The salary ranged between 1.5 lakhs per annum to 4.5 lakhs per annum. The highest salary offered was 4.5 lakhs p.a . The roles offered included, relationship officer, personal banker, securities officer, recruitment officers, HR associate etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided at the college are great. It includes 3 well equipped smart classes, Wi-Fi enabled campus, a fully functional computer lab that could accommodate 50+ students at the same time and a library with a good collection of management books and records. Unfortunately, there is no canteen inside the campus. Students have to go either to the canteen inside the St. Albert's college campus or other hotels nearby. MBA hostel rooms were away from the UG hostel behind the campus during our time. But now it has been moved along with the other hostel. Regarding the sports and games, annual sports meet is conducted and the games such as football, cricket and shuttle badminton are held separately.
Faculty: The faculty members at the college are very knowledgeable, qualified and very friendly. There are 8 faculty members who handle the various subjects. They basically use presentations for handling the subject matters. Students are also asked to do seminars and presentations on the topics that are discussed in order to attain more knowledge and details of a particular topic. Continuous assessments are made by the faculty through examinations. Students are made to write assignments on topics related to study almost every day. Various training sessions are arranged from the college monthly and yearly for the betterment of the students. Industrial tours are arranged every year so as the students can have a better understanding of the industry and the work. Various members who hold high positions in their respective fields of work are brought to college for an interactive session with the students every month. The course curriculum was definitely helpful.
Other: The college timings are from 8:30 AM to 6 in the evening (For the 1st year before specialization). It includes 6 classroom sessions and 2 activity sessions for the students where there are interactive games, debates, ice breaking sessions and so on and so forth. It was a fun-filled journey throughout the 2 years of college.

The college is satisfactory overall, but it doesn't excel in any factor and hence has no USP.
Placements: The placements for our batch and our seniors' batch were commendable. Major companies which recruited from our college include Airtel, KPMG, Future Group, Colgate-Palmolive etc.
The highest salary was Rs. 3 lac per annum and the lowest was around Rs. 1.8 per annum.
The placement were higher for students specializing in Marketing or Finance. Almost 80% of the students were placed in both batches.
HR and IT majors did not receive any placement support.
Infrastructure: Though the college does not provide hostel facilities or canteen, the location of the institute makes up for this drawback. Situated in the heart of Kochi, it can easily be accessed, and accommodation and food facilities are easy to find.
The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and new sets of PCs were installed just a few months back.
The institute shares a playground with the nearby school, but it is available for the students after class. Sports and athletics competitions are held annually in this ground.
Faculty: The faculty is well experienced and helpful. Though mostly theoretical based teaching is practiced, this can be considered to be a fault of the university syllabus rather than the drawback of the college.
Every batch has a maximum of 60 students, and 8-10 staff members handle the students throughout the 2 years.
2 compulsory internships have to be attended by the students, in which the final project study must be done outside the state.

Other: AIM is an awsome college in its attire and infrastructure. It is situated in the heart of Cochin city. The faculty as well as the management was not that upto standards during our course period. They follow the norm of divide and rule.My suggestion is to opt another B-school for the same money.
