Yes, admission to BCom courses at Alliance School of Business is entrance-based. Students need to take either the AUMAT exam or CUET, in order to get admission. AUMAT is conducted by the Alliance University every year as the basis of admission for its various programmes. CUET is conducted by the National Testing Agency admission to UG courses offered by participating universities. Students must fill in either of the marks while filling out the application form.

Alliance School of Business admission to EPGDM course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The university conducts a personal interview round to shortlist candidates for admission to EPGDM course. Additionally, candidates need to pass graduation or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate along with two-year of full-time work experience to apply for the Alliance School of Business EPGDM course. The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates need to pay an application fee to apply for admission. The application fee for BBA, BCom and MBA is INR 1,000 while, for PhD, it is INR 3,000.

Selection Rounds

The selection rounds vary for UG and PG courses. Candidates need to qualify MAT, CAT, ALLIANCE-MAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, KMAT score, Oral Extempore Speech followed by PI for MBA course. For BCom and BBA, candidates need to qualify AUSAT followed by a personal interview round.

There is no such provision for getting direct admission to the MBA programme at Alliance School of Business, Bangalore. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme must fulfil the following requirements:

• The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
• Candidates having valid scores CAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ CMAT will be shortlisted for oral extempore presentation and Personal Interview (PI) round.
