It is a good placement college.
Placements: About 35% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary offered is Rs.7000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs.14000 per month. Average number of students got internships but the recruitment is not so good. You can get a job in a bank, office, farm management, KPS, investigator, or you can research in agriculture.
Infrastructure: We don't have Wi-Fi facilities but a Wi-Fi router is available on campus. We have separate lab, classrooms are good, and a library is available but doesn't have many books. Everything has its own fees but quality doesn't match. The hostel has good Wi-Fi facilities and the quality of food is average.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and knowledgeable. They help in studies. They have good teaching qualities. We have two types of exams per semester, one is internal and other is external. Internal exam is a practice test before external exams. The pass percentage is 40%.

The college has good infrastructure, and I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: It is under UGC. So, no companies will be interested in taking students for jobs. There are no placements. Students need to do M.Sc. specialisation further, then only they will have a chance to get jobs. Otherwise, they will get less-paid jobs.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are neat and clean. The hostel is good with hot water, Wi-Fi, and a ground. Sports are conducted twice a year. The canteen is good. The college has a common library for all branches. The mess will be clean and neat, mainly North Indian food is present.
Faculty: The teachers are good and have good knowledge. The teaching quality is good. The course is of 4 years divided into 8 semesters, and 7 semesters have exams. The 8th semester has RAWE (rural agricultural work experience). It makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are conducted in our college. Exams are not hard.
Other: Through consultancy, I joined this college. Practicals can be improved. Due to corona, no big events are conducted. Small events are conducted like a food fest, games etc.

Overall, Alpine is a good college, but the campus is not so big.
Placements: Excellent placements are provided to students. I think the minimum package offered in college is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is almost 20 to 30 LPA. Overall, Alpine is good for placements. For more details, you can visit Alpine's official web page.
Infrastructure: Accommodation is poor, but the campus is lush green. For agriculture students, there are fields for our practice. The college library and librarian are good, and it has a huge collection of books related to all the departments.
Faculty: Overall, Alpine has the best faculty members in India. It is the best college in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and also here in Alpine, faculty members have good sense and know how to deal with students. Some faculty members and college teams are good at their works.
Other: Alpine has a good environment, but the campus crowd is low.

It is a good college for students who need marks.
Placements: Students who score above 50% in intermediate can get into this course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Many companies from the agriculture stream visit the campus. Most of the students are choosing government jobs after completing B.Sc in agriculture. After completing AGI, students mostly prefer AGO-like government jobs in high posts after that.
Infrastructure: Labs and library are with lab cards and we can take books up to 3 books for 15 days time period. We should return the book in 15 days or we can go to the library staff and we can ask them to extend the time of the book. Hostel food and canteen are good. Sports and games are played on sports day.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in their studies. The teaching quality is good. But teachers are doing their best to explain to students. Their teaching skills are good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students choose several jobs in their future.

Diploma in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2020

Satisfied with the faculty members, but dissatisfied with labs, library and placements in 2020.
Placements: 4% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 2.16 Lacs per annum. Only one company came here. There were no top companies coming here. The institute provides 100% internships in government departments like public work department, water irrigation department, powerhouse department, water treatment department etc. AutoCAD software roles are also offered.
Infrastructure: Some of the equipment and instruments are not available in the labs during my course interval. Some apparatus required for practicals are not available, like total station for surveying. Some instruments were damaged. Only the books related to the courses are available in the library, and no other books like novels and competitive books were not available. The librarian doesn't allow us to sit in the library and study there. The classrooms are good. There were proper blackboards, benches and tables for students, and fans are also available. Proper windows are available for cross ventilation. Since I was not a hosteler, I can't tell about hostel facilities, but once I have tried mess food, and it was good, like home food. The canteen was not up to the mark. Sports were nil. There are no sports activities organised by the college. Medical facilities are not available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are always kind to students, and the teachers help students in every situation. The teaching quality is good. Students have to work hard on their own. The percentage of difficulty in semester exams is 65%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in construction and wanted to become a transportation engineer. The best thing about this course is that it has a vast syllabus. I always find new and interesting facts about civil engineering. The importance of a civil engineer in the world is good. The thing I wish to change is that the college should take students to big construction sites so that students can get motivated and refreshed. The library must have other books also like novels and other competitive books. Extracurricular activities should be conducted. The campus crowd is good. Scholarships are easily accessible. Fests are organised once a year.

Alpine College is not good for information technology students.
Placements: In our Alpine College, there are no placements for IT students. The faculty are not good. I am pursuing B.Sc. IT and I are studying 6th semester. We don't have PhD holders. They do not give you any internship letter easily. Final word, if you are hoping for placement in our college, then there is no chance of IT department.
Infrastructure: There are very low facilities in our college. It gives you Wi-Fi facilities but only 20 Mb per day. There are lab facilities. You can use lab anytime when you wan, but in labs, there will be no faculty. There we have a library. I am not aware of the medical facilities. There is no sports day in our college. If they organize any sports event, then they select their players. Our college campus does not have any sports ground.
Faculty: There are poor faculty in all departments and courses. Some teachers are helpful, but others are not. Some teachers don't have good knowledge. They teach us from there mobiles not all but some. In our course, there are 28 students, but only 5 or 6 are regular to the college. They don't have any industry exposure. I do not recommend Alpine, but if you are the self-studying person, you can try.
Other: There are no events at all. I spend almost 3 years in this college, but I didn't saw any events in this college. They do fresher party after many requests. There is no farewell party. There is no crowd at all. Good surroundings are there because students are a few. I don't know about scholarships.
