The amount of extra fine is less as compared to other colleges.
Placements: In Forestry the placements can be done in government departments, NGO's, Research work and many more places. Even if you have capital you can do your own work. Forestry department doesn't have any placement is Alpine. But other departments like hotel management have scope.
Infrastructure: The facilities like classroom, teacher, boos in library, medical facilities are average. There is separate files and boys hostel a few distance from the hostel campus. The canteen have the normal food facilities. The hostel rooms are very good but little bit expensive.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated and well qualified so they are too helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching is also good as they are well qualified. The teaching method is used is good. The student to faculty ratio is 30:4.
Other: Events, fest are done occasionally. Scholarship is given by the student's state government.
