    Q:   Is B.A. at ASC a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

    Based on the reviews and comments from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Infrastructure and Facilities:
    * Good classrooms with modern technology (smartboards)
    * Excellent library with a wide range of books
    * Limited availability of hostels, especially for girls
    * No canteen on campus
    * No lab facilities for certain courses (like econometrics)

    Teaching Quality and Faculty:
    * Knowledgeable and qualified professors
    * Teaching quality is good, although some teachers are more helpful than others
    * Semester exams are challenging, but students can perform well with regular attendance and effort

    Placements and Internship Opportunities:
    * Unfortunately, no student from the B.A. program has been placed until now
    * No internships or recruitment drives
    * No guest lectures or industry interactions

    Overall Experience:
    * Course is designed similarly to standard university programs
    * Shortage of personnel and limited resources affect the overall learning experience
    * Limited extracurricular activities and events
    * No scholarships or financial assistance beyond a single instance

    In conclusion, while the B.A. program at ASC has its strengths, such as good classrooms and libraries, it lacks significantly in terms of placements, internship opportunities, and overall resource allocation. While some teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, the institution's limitations in these areas might impact students' growth and career prospects. Therefore, we cannot conclude that B.A. at ASC is a good choice without considering individual circumstances and priorities.

    Course Curriculum Structure for B.A. at ASC

    Based on the reviews provided, here's a summary of the course curriculum structure for B.A. at ASC:

    * Irrelevance: Some students feel that the course curriculum is outdated and doesn't relate to the current industry.
    * Ancient topics: Another reviewer mentioned that the course covers old and irrelevant topics that are not helpful for real-world applications.
    * Industry-readiness: However, one student felt that the course prepares students for industrial work, covering important subjects like programming languages.

    It seems that there is a mixed opinion among students regarding the relevance and effectiveness of the course curriculum for B.A. at ASC. While some feel that it's outdated and unhelpful, others believe that it prepares students for industry-ready jobs.

    Cheap yet expensive. Cheap in affordability, expensive in fun.
    Placements: There aren't any options for placement in the college. There are occasional job fairs that provide job opportunities, but apart from that, there aren't any companies looking for placements at the college. Hopefully, in the near future, a placement system will be implemented.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the college is very good. The library is great, and the staff is very helpful. There is plenty of space, including parks and grounds. New infrastructure is continuously being built. The hostel facility is also great. It is affordable and provides good services.
    Faculty: I would say the courses provided are very good. Almost all modern-day courses are available. The teaching facility is good too, except for some temporary academic arrangement staff. The exams are moderate—neither too tough nor too easy. Overall, the courses are built on modern lines.
    Other: I did Economics Honours there. It was a great experience. Other than the temporary academic arrangements, everything else is very good and enjoyable.

    Very dissatisfied because of poor faculty and management.
    Placements: To be honest, no student was placed in our course. This may have been the case with other courses as well. Our college wholly focuses on completing formalities like completing the syllabus, submitting assignments, etc., which serve no benefit to the students.
    Infrastructure: The classrooms are well developed with modern technology. There is a smartboard attached to the wall that uses a projector to operate, but the teachers have never made use of it. The washrooms are dirty and lack facilities. Library is very good with a wide collection of books.
    Faculty: Some teachers are very good, well qualified and very helpful, while others are just rude and not well educated. I don't think the course makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult as well and I think the pass percentage is above 80 percent.

    Amar singh college's honest review.
    Placements: The college is not known for its placements. I haven't come across any student who studied at this college and got a placement. Small companies do come looking for interns paying you a few thousand per month. Simply put, you shouldn't get your hope up of finding a job here.
    Infrastructure: The main building of the college was once a palace of Hari Singh; that's why it's called the heritage building. Even with this status, the building hasn't been looked after. The classrooms are old-fashioned; only two classrooms have smart boards, no air conditioning, and are darkly lit. Hostel rooms are in awful conditions with no working fans. Bathrooms are smelly and gross. Mess food isn't good either; Dal tastes like you are eating at a stand. College has a big playground, which is a plus point. Intercollege and interdistrict matches are held regularly.
    Faculty: The teachers do their job very well. They are well qualified with modest behavior, possessing a great deal of knowledge. If we are talking about relevancy between different subjects in the course, then yes, it is quite relevant. But it doesn't prepare you for life, as most of the curriculum is bookish in nature. Semester exams are not so difficult if you study well. About 70% of the students pass their graduation.

    A good curriculum is dying due to the shortage of capable teachers.
    Placements: Just two students from the whole batch are placed. No companies recruit. No internships. Students don't get many opportunities to work with the experts in the field. No guest lectures. No placement packages for students, even after being one of the hot subjects in the world.
    Infrastructure: Classrooms are good but lack a library and Wi-Fi facility. Also, no canteen is present on campus. There are no labs for the course, as needed for ecnometrics. There is no support for students trying to bring something new to the college. Lack of proper hostels, even for girls.
    Faculty: The course is designed at par with standard universities. There is a severe shortage of personnel. And even if a face-to-face is arranged, it is always on a contact basis. This affects the ability of the students to learn and explore the course in the way it needs to be done.
    Other: There are no extracurricular activities or fests.

    Really good college, I recommend that all of you visit our college for various activities.
    Placements: Around 20 percent of students in total are associated with us in my course. I don't know the highest, the lowest, or other packages offered by our college. The top recruiting companies in our courses are, I think, all of them. I don't remember company names because I am new at this college.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, and the college faculty is extremely helpful in all aspects. Words are insufficient to fully describe our college. Do come and visit the library; it's not just good; it's actually excellent in all respects. A huge and vast number of books are available for all courses.
    Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and qualified, and their teaching quality is also very good. Students grow their internal talents to show them to others. The semester exams are very decent, and students can calmly answer these questions frequently. I strongly advise you to visit aur college.

    The college has good and friendly environment but the teachers are many times busy in their fun.
    Placements: About 20 petcent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 39909 and lowest was 12999. Tata was top company. About 15 out of 20 percent got internship Professor was top role in my course that offered. I think the course i was doing was best of all courses
    Infrastructure: There was no wifi because many students use it for other ways so that was a great thing for myself and other students also.classrooms were large and comfortable.And about lab that was quite good. I was not in hostel because my home was near the college .
    Faculty: Teaching quality was best at all but sometimes they didn't focus properly and don't create a friendly environment for students. Yes it is curriculum and relevant to students yes it make students industry ready. Exams were tough and easy.Easy for those who prepared very well and tough to those who were never ready for exams
    Other: This is good and affordable course
