Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2023

A good college in terms of teachers.
Placements: Till now in our batch, no student has got an internship from the college. The highest package I have heard of is 2.4 LPA. That too not many received. Last I heard only two students got placement from the companies that came to college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, it is under construction. Labs have old systems and not even enough numbers. When we go to the lab we either have to share or wait. Some teachers recommend bringing your PC for lab sessions to prevent time waste.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and sweet. Semester exams are medium, not hard nor easy. Teachers try their best to teach the syllabus and practicals. Most teachers are always willing to take extra classes for those who have doubts or are weak in their subjects.
Other: I love programming so I took BCA.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2021
3.2

Average Infrastructure and placements.
Placements: The placements session begins in the fifth semester. The college has its own placement cell that conducts interviews with organisations such as Wipro, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, and Concentrics and offers students the opportunity to work for these well-known corporations. The student get average placements packages. In terms of our education, firms provide numerous profiles in the field of computer Science based on the skill set of the person. The percentage of pupils placed is extremely low. The average monthly package available is 2L. A few companies also offer students internships.
Infrastructure: In terms of laboratories, classrooms, seminar halls, and Wi-Fi connectivity for students to web resources, the college infrastructure is fairly strong. The library has all of the books that students may need during their college experience. If there are any books that are not available at the library, students can inform the librarian, and they will make them available to you within a few days. The classrooms are spacious and airy. The labs are also very well-equipped, with all of the most recent software and processors installed on the computers, which is the most critical requirement for our course. The college doesn't provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: When it comes to faculty members, they are quite kind and supportive of the students. The faculty members are highly trained and have a strong educational background in computer Science. This course had six semesters, and the semester exams were moderate-difficult to pass. During the semesters, a number of class tests are also scheduled.
Other: I took this subject despite having commerce in my class 12 since I had always been interested in computer Science and wanted to pursue a career in the IT area. The college costs are quite affordable in comparison to other IP university affiliated colleges. The college does not give scholarships, but you can apply for scholarships offered by the central and state governments. About the campus life at out college, there is no raging in our college, and there are strict rules and regulations against it. However, because our campus has a formal dress code of black trousers and a white shirt, we miss out on that aspect of college life, which is wearing different outfits every day. The college also organises several extra-curricular events, and students are encouraged to participate in those activities and competitions. Our students compete and represent our college in the IP University's sports competition every year around October.

I am dissatisfied with the placements provided here.
Placements: Around 65 students are enrolled in the BCA course when I am studying. Placements are not offered by our college. None of the companies visited here for recruitment. About 10% of students or less got internships from our course, but they did not get them in well-known companies. The top role offered here may be a computer operator.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not very clean, and washrooms of students are also unhygienic. There is a very small playground. The library is good, and free Wi-Fi is available. Labs are in good condition. The canteen is not good. The food served is affordable, but there is a lack of varieties. The taste and quality of food are average. Tug of war and volleyball are the only sports played here. Medical facilities are not available.
Faculty: Some of the teachers here are qualified, and they are helpful to students. They are knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is average and not at the top. The course curriculum is relevant up to the 4th semester, and after that, some unnecessary subjects are added.
Other: I chose this course to learn some computer languages, so I can get a job in the computer software industry. There is not any best thing in our course. Events and fest are organised occasionally.

Diploma in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2019
2.8

It is a below average college, and I suggest students find a better college than Ambedkar Institute.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide many placements for students. Only one or two students got selected from every batch and stream. Only a few companies visit our college to conduct interviews. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting company of our college is Wipro.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available for students, but it is limited to only 20Mb per day. The hostel facility is not available for students. Medical facilities are available. A library is present. A canteen is there for students. Very few sports facilities are available. Extracurricular activities are also very less. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Teachers behave very badly, and they only give attendance to those who complete their work. However, their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum doesn't make students ready for companies or different jobs. Teachers only teach in the book language, which is barely understandable for topper students too.
Other: I opted for this course because CE is the only best stream in this college. I wish I had taken admission in some other college because teachers here are not good. College life is not good. They promise students on giving scholarships. But in the end, they don't provide scholarships.
