May 12, 2023: A guest lecture on "Logistics - Export Import Policies in India" was organised by Amity Chennai. Our students heard from Shivakumar, general manager of Aapt Logistics / Trading. The importance of logistics management in India was stressed by him. He also went through the ideas behind order processing, Transportation, warehousing, material handling, and packaging are all related to inventory control. He made insights into the function of logistics in manufacturing, customer service, and procurement.

The industrial authority who guided the students throughout the trip showed them through the factory and explained the various machines which perform the assembling and finishing of the products with the help of automation, streamlining and modern technologies.
