Placements: Placements in core IT and CSE were pretty solid. Almost all my batchmates were placed by the end of the 8th semester. For remaining students, the process was carried on till August 2014 even though the batch had ended. There were several companies for the core IT sector such as Wipro, CSC, HCL, etc. Most of the students were mass placed in these companies. Other than these there were several small to medium enterprises such as Sopra, etc which selected 2-5 students each. ...
Placements: The placements I believe were pretty decent given the current scenario of the people who got placed. Many of them are working on-site, which is commendable. The university is growing in stature in this regard. If you are someone who is desperately looking for a job the possibility is that you will get placed. They make sure of that.
Placements: Around 80% of the seniors were placed last year. The highest salary package was about 18 lakhs PA which was given by British Gas Group. The lowest packages were in the range of about 2-3 lakhs PA. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Bluegape, Infosys, HCL and Airtel visited the campus. Students were placed for the post of regional manager, IT technicians etc. The internship record is 85% but it mandatory for every student to go for an internship. The highest stipend was about 15000 per month and lowest ...
Placements: I got placed at Wipro and Golden Peacock, but I joined my family business. But I appeared in placements for more than 40+ companies. The connection of the Amity placement cell with companies s great and the best in NCR. The average salary is slightly on a lower side compared to the fees they charge but the scenario of the market is the worst.
Placements: Placement is better in ASET compared to the other colleges. More than 50% students are placed in my batch including me and my senior batch secured more than 80% placement. The average salary package is around 3.4 - 4.5 lacs. The highest salary package is offered by Microsoft of approximately 10 lacs. Well-known companies like Microsoft, Vivo, Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, HCL etc. visited our campus.
Placements: Placements are good and you will ample opportunity. At my time, around 120+ companies visited the campus for different streams. Most of the companies were of the CSE/IT field but you will get a few other companies for every other stream. For civil, the placements are not up to the mark. CSE/IT guys will get more than enough opportunities. AT my time, 80% of the batch(CSE) was placed by December.
Placements: I got a job in Wipro from campus placements as a project engineer but even after placement, I did not get the date of joining till now. Unfortunately, there were only 2-3 mechanical core companies and we didn't even get to know when they came. Placements get started a semester ahead of our final semester, but I don't know how helpful it was.
Placements: The placement was fine and a lot of students got placed at around 70 %. The average package goes around 3-3.5 lakhs. There were many companies like Wipro, Aricent and Bajaj. All were related as per the stream of the student. People have to depend upon their own terms for an internship. No stipend was really offered.
Placements: 85% of my batch got placed. The highest package was around 4.5 lacs and the lowest package was around 2.75 lacs. Mostly, IT companies came even for the placement. Mechanical and electronics engineers also got placed in IT firms. The scenario for our seniors was also similar. You can expect to get placed if you prepare well.
Placements: The placements in Amity are its best part, after infrastructure, but Amity offers quantity, not quality. If you feel you are an average person who wants a decent job, then surely it's suitable for you. If you think you have quality, then you don't need Amity. There are people in Amity I have known that got 8 cgpa and still could not get a job on campus and people who got 5 cgpa were able to get better packages than who got higher cgpa.
Placements: Placements were mostly in IT companies with package varying from 2.75 to 4.5. The placement cell tried well in engaging various companies. Some companies which visited are: Wipro, HCL, Ericsson, Cognizant etc. Most of the students from IT-related fields were placed.
Placements: I am in the second batch of this course, as the college was started in 2014, I can't tell about the placements. But, the placements here are average in Amity. But the placements for CSE department are 100% guaranteed. The packages offered varies from 3 LPA to 4 LPA and 10 LPA to 12 LPA for campus placements and 40 LPA for non-campus placements.
Placements: Out of 250 students in the previous batch, 91 got placed rest of them most probably gone for higher studies or have their own business to handle. The placement cell at Amity holds the student until and unless the student himself signs on the placement cell form that the placement is not needed by the student.
Placements: As we all see, what matters the most is placements. Because in today's world when you complete your engineering after 4 years people only ask about the package. Being in Amity, I've seen my seniors preparing for the same. Till now, i.e. the end of the semester examinations of fourth-year students about 60% of them are placed. Amity claims that number to be 100, but there are several conditions. 20% of all the students want to study more so 80% are in consideration. Now again 20% have CGPA below ...
Placements: Placements are 100% and the placement cell is very efficient. There are some major organisations like Wipro which recruit in masses. Companies like E&Y and Ford also come to the college. All the placement activity is supervised by the administration. Students are also involved in smoothening the process.
Placements: The placement was quite good but not cent percent. Mainly, the students were placed in IT sector firms, about an average package of 2.5 lakhs varying from 1.8 lakhs to 3.6 lakhs. The role offered was a Trainee Engineer. Nobody got the internship from the college. They got it mostly by references. They got internships in nearby companies or in their hometowns.
Placements: The placements of my batch were average as around 50% of the students who applied for the jobs were recruited. The highest package offered was 5.75 lakhs and the lowest package offered was 2.25 lakhs. Companies like HCL, Amazon, Genpact, Deloitte and a few startups came to the campus for recruitment.
Placements: The placements of my batch were better for B.Tech students as compared to M.Tech students. Around 30%-40% students were recruited out of the total number of students who applied for the job. The highest package was of 4 lakhs and the lowest was 1.75 lakhs. The companies which came to the campus for recruitment were all MNCs and a few startups.
Placements: The placement process started in the third academic year as promised by Amity technical placement cell (ATPC). Very good companies like Cisco, Aricent, Wipro, Headstrong, Virtusa etc. came first and the placement process was also carried out very smoothly. Except for a handful of candidates, rest all got placed by the start of the last semester, who participated in campus placements. The package range was from 2 to 6 lakhs per annum, and most companies offered a package of 3.5 lakhs per annum fo...
Placements: The college provides 100% placements. Core companies like Tata Motors, Ford Motors and Honda Motors arrive on the campus early and place as many students as they can after GD, written exam and interviews. Also, the college authorities provide enough support for students to prepare for placements.
