Chandigarh University (CU) Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Our college provides campus placements and it is too good. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 crore per annum. The average salary package offered is 14.57 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 11.8 LPA. All good companies visit the campus for placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The DCPD department handles the placement cell. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Microsoft, and Amazon visit the campus for placements. The placement percentage is around 80%-90%.

Placements: There are only 25-30 students who get placed in every batch from all departments, such as LL.B., B.A., LL.B., BBA LL.B., B.Com. LL.B, etc. B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) is very weak compared to the total strength of the university. The average package is listed about 5 Lacs in their website but I believe it to be comparatively less. Most students were placed in law firms in Chandigarh or Delhi. As for law department, the placement record is not so good.

Placements: Up to 90% of students got placed in my course. The highest package was almost 54 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Club Mahindra, MakeMyTrip, Travel Triangle, etc. Up to 95% of students got internships in companies like Thomas Cook, Travel Triangle, Journey Cook, and Club Mahindra. The top roles offered in this course are travel agent, tour guide, entrepreneur, ticket agent, and many roles after foreign exchange opportunities.

Placements: The placement of our college is good. It gives us the opportunity to show our skills in front of recruiters, which provides value for money, and it gives a lot of companies for your placement time. A lot of people have more than two offers at a time, which is good for students.

Placements: Marketing placements were more. Even in banking fields and banking companies, mostly companies were referring students with marketing specialisation in minor. Companies for finance was very less. Recession is also going on so can't blame the university for that.

Placements: My batch is very amazing. The students and the staff members are very much cooperative and they help us out with each and every problem. The students are also very helpful and cooperative. Almost 95% of the students get internships from the college only.

Placements: In this college, there are internships by companies, and this college is organizing placement every year on campus for the students. In this college, the highest salary is 7 Lacs, and the average package is 4 LPA.

Placements: As in our college, around 400 companies visit for the placements and have different criteria for selection. But the average selection rate is about 80%, and the average package is about 8 LPA. The highest packages in our university are about 20-25 LPA, and even the students are getting internships in our college in the 5th semester with a package of 8-10 LPA. The visited companies include Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart, and many facilities are there for female candidates too.

Placements: About 300 companies visit the campus every year for placements and internships. Many big multinational companies like Google, Microsoft, and Adobe visit. The highest placement is around 54 lakhs per annum, and the average is 8 lakhs per annum. Students start sitting for placements in their seventh semester.

Placements: The campus placements of the college have been decent so far, except in 2023 due to the recession. From the fourth year, students become eligible for placement, and several companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, and Adobe participate. The placement percentage was around 70% in 2023, but in previous years it has been above 90%. The highest package in 2023 was around 62 LPA.

Placements: 20-30% of students were placed in this course who sat in placement for various companies. 3 LPA-10 LPA packages were offered to the students placed in this course by various companies. A lot of companies came for recruiting, like L&T, Accenture, Infotech, Ultratech Cement, etc. Many students got internships in this course; I think 50%.

Placements: The college has a TPP course, which is a choice; without it, you are not allowed to sit in campus placement. In the 2024 batch, out of 2300, only 900-1000 got placed, and the average package was about 6 Lacs, with the highest being 45 Lacs, but it was for only one person of a thousand.

Placements: There are two categories of students in the course: first TPP and second non-TPP. Students who opted for TPP can only sit in placement drives. So from students who opted for TPP and have 7.5 CGPA, 80% of them get placed. More than 800 placement drives are organized and more than 7000 offers are offered. The average package is 5 - 6 Lacs and people with skills mostly get packages above 10 Lacs. Companies that visit campus are Bank of America, Motorola, IBM, etc. The lowest package offered is 3 La...

Placements: The highest package of this university was from my course, Computer Science. The highest package was 1.07 crore, that was from a foreign company. The lowest package was 3 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 8 Lacs per annum, which makes CU the no.1 private university in India. Top recruiting companies are Google, TCS, IBM, etc. Many students get a chance to do internships in the 2nd year as it gives exposure to your experience. Placements: In this university, they are providing a lot of things, not only education, culture, and games. In the last year, the pass-out batch had 60-70% of students get placed and also 80% of students getting internships. The highest package of my course is 28 LPA. If we work hard, we will definitely get placement with a good package.

Placements: If you're doing B. Tech in ECE from Chandigarh University, then chances of you getting placed are low. Companies do come for ECE, but it's not that much compared to the CSE branch. College does provide companies for internships, but that is also in fewer numbers, so I must say to join CSE instead of ECE.

Placements: MBA has mostly sales placements for CU. Other specializations don't usually have good placements. Also, most sales jobs are in the average of 3-6 Lacs (including incentives). But seeing the fields, the placements are good, I guess, because you don't need a CAT score to get into CU.

Placements: This university provides placements to the dedicated and knowledgeable candidates based on walk in interviews. It's up to us that how we appear in interviews. But upon talking to my seniors and some passout students they don't provide placements to courses like M.A. English but they do provide placements to other courses.

Placements: Placement opportunities are good here, but the crowd is very large, so you have to fight for good placements. The highest placement this year was around 53 LPA, with an average package of 7.5 LPA. If you have good skills, you can get very good placements here.
