Placements: Placements in our college are pretty bad. More than 60% of students get offer letter during the internship time. It is easy for other departments to attract companies. Placements: The Mass Communication course doesn't have placements unlike the engineering course. So yes, there are no highest, lowest, or average packages offered in the courses. While there are companies that go through the personal connections of the faculty members, like Google, Amrita TV, and media advertising agencies including Indian Parliament.
Placements: Amrita mass communication offer placements in 2 firms this time. But I didn't attend for any of those. Students who wanted to pursue masters it was fine. But for others, it proved to be difficult as without placements it's nearly impossible to get jobs anywhere. Placements are a necessity.

Amrita School of Communication is the most apt option for the ones who are pursuing to become a media professional and who want to stand out of the crowd. While there is more inclination towards Journalism there is ample classes conducted which covers the topics such as marketing, advertising, CSR, photography and so on. Students will be lucky enough to interact with media professionals who have greatly contributed in their concerned field of profession.
