Great course but no placement and future.
Placements: Only a few students in our batch were placed. Out of 120 students, only 4 or 5 got placed. The recruiters were Trimble and Thanal. They offered packages of 3-4 LPA. All students did internships during their 7th semester as part of the curriculum. The students themselves selected the companies, and they chose companies near their native place only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities at this college were very well created for the academic purpose. The labs were set up perfectly, and the classrooms were well made for a perfect study environment. Wi-Fi was available throughout the hostel and college. The hostel facilities were also very good, but the food was just okay. Sports and games were also going on at a great level.
Faculty: The teachers were well qualified and knowledgeable, and the curriculum was relevant to the course. The quality of education was high, and the teaching methods were effective. The curriculum is relevant to the course, and the academics are done fully in accordance with the guidelines of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). This prepares students for employment in the agricultural industry. The pass percentage during semester exams was almost 100 out of 120.
Other: I chose this course because I thought it has good job opportunities but later I realised it was not as I thought. There are only few opportunities. But we learnes many subjects which increased the knowledge. If the opportunity rise for agriculture it will be so useful. As we are the first batch there wasn't much of activities. Only few events took place. But now they are trying to explore more.
