ALC: An Actual Review You Actually Need.
Placements: Placements started at the very beginning of the final year. Several companies came, like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, L&T, Deloitte, IBM, and many more. Almost all 182 students got placed with Infosys alone. We also had a placement cell and placement drives for guiding the students for the placements. The highest pay was 5 LPA in my batch, and the average was 3.6 LPA. Around 70% of students got placed, irrespective of their course. Mostly, all were recruited for BPM posts, and a few as developers.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure has no drawbacks to mention at all. Classes are big enough and strongly built. The library has all kinds of books available for all courses and is well-maintained. Labs are okay but not bad. Wi-Fi is not needed in the college, so it is not available in all classes. But I don't know about the hostel, as I am not a hostel student. I know that hostel food is not great but is adjustable. The hostel is very strictly maintained with a timely schedule. All other facilities are available.
Faculty: My three major subjects are Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. The complete graduate-level syllabus is covered in three years as needed. Some practicals, projects, and foundation courses are also added as required. So, the course curriculum is up to the mark. Teachers are well-qualified for their posts. We have two mid-term exams for each semester, and their marks are added to the semester-end examination marks. The pass percentage is above 70 every year, as the exams are only moderately difficult.
Other: Statistics is my subject of interest, so I opted for this course. This course has both Maths and Statistics, making it easier for me to study. It also includes Computer Science to ensure we have computer knowledge, which is equally important as Statistics. We can specialize in Maths or Statistics or go for computer-related jobs, such as software development. We have yearly events like Spoorthi, held for the whole college every year. Also, some departmental events or fests are conducted by each department as possible. We do receive all eligible scholarships. All co-curriculars and sports are equally encouraged by the college.

Our college provides excellent faculty members, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Almost 15% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 3.50 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were HCL, Infosys, etc. Due to the lockdown, internships were average. The top role offered was software developer in Wipro.
Infrastructure: All facilities were available in this college. The laboratory assistant was helpful to clarify our doubts. Wi-Fi was available but it was not usable. Mobile phones were not allowed in our classrooms and laboratories. There was an excellent library in this college. The food served in the hostel was average. The canteen was average. Medical facilities were provided. There was a huge playground in this college. Sports were conducted such as cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. They always clarify our doubts. Semester exams were conducted strictly. The pass percentage was 40%.

Being a student in Andhra Loyola College.
Placements: I'm in my second year. The placements will be held in the final year. So I'm not placed yet, nor are my batch mates. Our seniors got an average package of 3–4 LPA. Top recruiters include Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro and more.
It's mandatory for every student to do a paid internship in one of the semesters. So every student will be doing an internship. As a statistics student, my top roles include statistical analyst, data analyst and more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Great lab facilities. And good canteen, medical and sports facilities are available. The hostel is average. You can find many PG hostels near the campus. We've got a great library, which we can access for free. There are a great number of books in all categories.
Faculty: We've got great teachers who are well educated, qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum focuses on overall student activity. The semester is connected every 90 working days. And the pass percentage is more than 80%. The exam is conducted in such a way that an average student can clear it.
Other: I wanted to pursue statistics because I'm very interested in playing with data. I wish there was more practical knowledge than theoretical. There are many fests, events and extracurriculars.

Our college provides good teachers, infrastructure, and all other facilities.
Placements: My course is Bachelor of Science. Most of the students got placed in jobs. The highest package offered was 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, Wipro, etc. Around 60% of students got internships in this course. The top role offered was developer.
Infrastructure: Labs are fully efficient with Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms were all good to study with good atmosphere. Our college has best and biggest library with numerous collections of books with soft copies also. The campus is full of greenery for pleasant vibes. Hostels are also good, neat and hygiene, with complete security. All other facilities like a health care room for emergency, play ground, neat washrooms etc., are also available. The canteen food is also good at reasonable prices. Sports and games are encouraged on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers always guide us in all aspects. They were knowledgeable and well-experienced. Faculty members were highly qualified and well-trained. They make us ready to face challenges with practical knowledge. Semester exams were difficult. Every one can pass but one can get good marks only through passing out the difficulty in the paper. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about the campus life here is that we are provided with practical knowledge. They are over strict, which can be made a little liberal. Campus has events and fest occurring very frequently. Scholarships are provided and taken care off completely by the college administration itself.

Review of Andhra Loyola College (ALC, Vijayawada).
Placements: In our college, placements depend on the number of students who apply. Some students are interested in higher education. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc., visit our campus. Students must be interested and try to attend interviews for experience, and then you can grab an offer.
Infrastructure: Our labs are excellent. All facilities are provided according to student needs. The hostel mess is average. For sports and games, there are many facilities and grounds. The hostel management provides leadership opportunities to students who are interested and capable.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. The first thing would be discipline rather than study. Some courses make students ready for industry. The semester exams are easy to pass for an average student. My advice is to earn internal marks so that you can gain more at the end of the semester.
Other: The present students are not eligible for scholarships provided by the Andhra Pradesh government, but they are hoping for future batches. There are numerous departmental and cultural festivals. I prefer to be in a hostel for at least one year.

Placements: Last year, around 60% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Many companies visit the college. Students are eligible for placements if they maintain above 70% with no backlogs.
Infrastructure: Our college has many courts to play in. The library is provided. Facilities in our college are very good. It is the first and biggest college in Vijayawada. Labs are good with updated data. Classrooms are very neat. There is Wi-Fi throughout the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. The explanation of subjects is very good. They are well-educated and clear all our doubts on the spot. They are like our friends. Before exams, students are well prepared on time. Exams are well scheduled by teachers.
Other: I chose this college because it is the biggest college with well-experienced teachers. Many fests are conducted here. NCC is available for interested students. Around 4 to 5 fests are conducted in a month.
