Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, but placements in 2015 and infrastructure are good.
Placements: 80% of students got placed in my course. I don't know about the highest package offered, but every course has a different fee structure. My course fee is 1,16,500 per year. Top companies that come here are Taj, Oberoi, Marriotts, Acor etc. 100% of internships are provided to all students. General manager role is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is from the 19's, and they are working on it for an advanced look. We have e-classrooms and a library. There is no Wi-Fi in our college for students. AC facilities are available in every class. I didn't stay in the hostel, but the canteen food is authentic and delicious, and the food quality is good. Medical facilities are available. They organise sports once a year.
Faculty: Every teacher helps you to succeed and achieve your goal. They are very knowledgeable. Every teacher has unique teaching quality. Students love their way of teaching. They help us learn basics and be ready to face anything in future in the industry. The exams are not difficult. It totally depends on your preparation. I got 74%.

It is one of the best colleges for hotel management.
Placements: About 60% of students got jobs through campus placements. The highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is Rs. 50,000 per annum. Salary packages are not specific, and it depends on the vacancies of that hotel or company. Almost 100% of students got internships from our course. Hotels like Taj, Marriott, Novotel and other 5-star hotels visit here. Top roles offered are as a general manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best for hotel management students. There are huge classrooms with air-conditioners and IT labs, front office labs, a housekeeping lab and a mini restaurant for food and beverage service. There is a library with air-conditioners and a clean environment. Every classroom has projectors, and there are industrial kitchens.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable with good experience in the industry. Our curriculum is relevant, and there is much detail in every subject. Hotel management is known for practicals, so students get industry-ready while studying. Semester exams are moderately easy because everything is based on practical knowledge. So, the passing rate is more than 95% here.
Other: Most of the students from our batch and passed out batch got jobs abroad, or they went abroad for further studies. Hotel management students have demand in every industry and abroad also. So, I chose this course. There is nothing to improve in this course, and everything is best. Our college is in South Bombay site. Surroundings are clean and well maintained. Our college organises a fest named Magn.

One of the finest colleges in Mumbai for hospitality studies.
Placements: Reputed organisations like Taj, Sea Princess, and Rodas visit the campus for campus interviews. The packages were discrete as every organisation offered a different package for different departmental roles. Students get placed in food and beverage domain get a minimum salary package of Rs. 3000 per month. Students who got placed in the housekeeping domain get a salary package of nearly Rs. 2,500 per month. Students who get front office roles were offered a salary package of Rs. 4,500 per month while the students who were offered jobs in the main kitchen and bakery kitchen are offered Rs. 4,000 and Rs. 3,500 respectively.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are 4 kitchens, 2 labs, and a big casted library. The staff and students are offered free lunch, and the food is also tasty. Both teaching and non-teaching staff are friendly. They provide proper guidance and proper in-detail knowledge about each every subject. The academic building is of 6 floors, and there is a friendly atmosphere all around.
Faculty: The fee structure is feasible enough in comparison to the facilities provided. All the facilities are good enough. The uniform provided is of good quality. They provide good quality ingredients in the kitchen. Thus food and seating arrangements are good here. The college also provides a proper computer and library facility. We also have proper books to read.
Other: The college organises an event named Theme Lunch where all the students of the second year are given a theme based on the occasion or festival going on at that time so that the whole restaurant and college interiors are decorated accordingly. Even the food menu had to be well-planned and prepared by students accordingly with the help of their professors. In the event, professors act as guests and some special guests are also invited. The college also organises a Theme Dinner/College fest, and it is another version of theme lunch. The only advantage here is students become entrepreneurs as they set up their own food stalls and sell the food made by them.

Good college, but with full of greed and poor facilities.
Placements: They guarantee placements in 5-star properties, and I guess most of the time they claim that college does 100% successful placements. During my induction, they told us the same, but many seniors didn't get jobs. Also, you will get a chance in the campus placement to get selected and work for the well-known brands like the Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Holiday Inn, etc. Such things you will find in all hotel management colleges across Mumbai, but the number of students get select is hardly 4-5 per brand in the campus placement, so hardly, 5%-10% students get selected for 5-star properties. They also allow small restaurant like the dominos and Starbuck to hire you, but if you are ready to work for them trust me you are wasting your parents' money. I got selected for Marriott in on-campus placement, and even that time, 55 people gave name for Fnb and only we 3 got selected. I was the average student, but I managed to crack that interview, but 2 of my friends were unemployed for 7 months after graduation. The college will even show you that many students got selected abroad, but trust me they don't have such contacts that they can get placement abroad, after completing the course. In general, the students contact other agency and pays Rs. 6-7 Lakhs for their student visa, but the college use their photos to attract new students. Better try for IHM which is a government institute, for that you need to give entrance exam. Hotels also prefer IHM students for their management level and entry-level staff than the students of private colleges. Even, you will save lots of money because the fee is also less.
Infrastructure: They have BTK 1 & 2 which is the basic training kitchen for the 1st year, and QTK 1 & 2 which is the quantity training kitchen for the 2nd year. In 3rd-year, there will be a specialisation period which depends upon the department you choose like the housekeeping, food & beverage, front office, food production or bakery, and also they have a separate kitchen for the bakery. It also has a housekeeping & a front office lab which is nothing, but classrooms for the 3rd years with 2-computer labs, but hardly anything is taught there which is only used to do the college projects. There is also no game zone, but they have a library with a good collection of books relating to the hospitality. The college canteen is not that good, but every day you will be served food cooked in QTK kitchens, and by the 2nd year, you will need the canteen only, when the menu is boring. Basically, in the 1st year you will get to enjoy a good menu, because you will get chicken dishes every week, but in 2nd year and 3rd years, it will reduce to once or twice a month. The college hostel is good, but the food issues are the same there as well. There will be an infrastructural issue. In the 1st day of the induction, they told us that there are ACs on all the floors, but when we talk about the classroom quality, there are no ACs in classes, except the labs. Though 55-60 students can sit in a class, it becomes difficult to attend the classes in summers. The major infrastructure issue here was that twice or trice in a month, they use to cut the water supply which use to result in dirty unflushed toilets, and sometimes students used to get stuck in the toilet because of no water availability. In this situation, though if you have a trusted friend who can arrange for the tissues, still opening a dirty toilet door becomes the worst nightmare. Now just imagine paying Rs. 4 to 5 Lakhs for such poor facilities, which is a waste of money.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and experienced. There will also be different faculty every year for all the subjects. Also, the syllabus is divided according to a 6-semester pattern. Some faculty use projectors to teach you in 2nd year and you will also be sent for industrial training for 4 and half months, in 5 star and 4-star properties. But for the industrial exposure, here again, it depends on how you crack the interview which is important to get into the good property. You will also not face that much problem to get selected for the industrial training because the hotels need trainees more than the students need a hotel because the stipend which is paid is extremely less, but during this 4 and a half months, you will also get to know about different departments of hotels.
Other: The college also has 2 fests, one is the Magn, and the other is the Theme dinner. In Magn, the fest is organised by the 3rd years with a moto to train students, but the main goal is to earn money again. Everything is pre-planned like the vendors, but they will try to portray it like, the students are responsible for looking after the budget of the event. But the rate is fixed, the vendor is fixed, and everything is fixed. The student who never even bought a household grocery suddenly looks after the transactions of lakhs of rupees. Every student is responsible for contributing a minimum of 10,000 rupees, which is compulsory to get 3-4 marks out of 10 in the practicals. This will set the budget. But still, some students give Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 just to get more marks and to impress the concerned faculty. Also, there is sponsorship from the regular and old sponsors, and the money earned by selling the stall to the students make that the budget double the amount. But, if you fail to get a sponsorship, then you are supposed to pay it from your pocket. You will also not be allowed to sit for the exams even after paying the college and the university fees, after which you will be forced to write a letter to allow you to sit in the lecture and to pay that amount, and failing which the college has the authority to take actions. If you really fail to pay that money, then they will stop your university certificate. So, in order to save your Lakhs, you are forced to pay that Rs. 10,000, for which you will not even get any receipt as its already been 5 to 6 months after the event, where they will tell to show that amount for the tax. But, in the end, it goes into their pockets. There are many such incidents where I had seen the management's greed for the money, like the time when Shivsena warned to stop illegal penalty on students which stopped the fraud of 1 to 2 lakhs of rupees every 2 months, and many such incidents. Trust me you are lucky that you are getting a chance to know about that particular college because of shiksha.com, so take your decision wisely.

I love the college atmosphere and I'm proud to be an Anjumanite.
Placements: I got the placement in Cafe Coffee Day as a store manager. The college gives you placement guarantee, and the topmost industry recruiter comes to college and recruits the students for the good roles and designations. The pay scale is also good to start the career. The college assures your bright future. I'm proud to be an Anjumanite.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are 4 kitchens, 2 labs, a big casted library, The staff and students are offered free lunch, and the food is also tasty. Both teaching and non-teaching staff are friendly. They provide proper guidance and proper detail knowledge about each an every subject. The infrastructure is spread over 6 floors, and there is a friendly atmosphere all around.
Faculty: The faculty are the best I've ever known. All the staff are well trained, highly educated, and skilful. Both Mumbai University and Nasik University offers B.Sc hospitality degree, and M.Sc program has also been introduced. The staff are friendly and are of helping nature. They are supportive in all aspects.
Other: Magn is inter-college competition with various aspects involved. Many different types of competition such as bartending, theme lunch, cooking, photography are conducted. Every year, nearly 10,000 guests walk in during the event. There would be live kitchen and food for the customers.
