College is good for economical, but not good for enjoying campus life.
Placements: Around 40% of students are directly placed from college. And the highest package depends on whether the student chooses the private sector or government sector. For the private sector, the package may differ from 1.8LPA to 3LPA & for the government. Sector packages may differ from 3.6 LPA to 9.6 LPA. Since it is a B.Ed college there are no recruiting companies but yes college provides great opportunities to get the best job one can have. Also, the college has tie-ups from many reputed schools for students internship. P. G. U. G teachers are the best roles offered by the college.
Infrastructure: This college is one of the best colleges in the city, but the infrastructure is not that good. There are one huge library of varieties of genres and course books, a canteen with good quality food & one cricket ground. It is, of course, a Wi-Fi campus, but the facility is more for administration rather than for students. Well, one can get access to Wi-Fi if he/she sends a request letter to the Server room Manager. Of course, the environment is green & clean but the college does not promote sports too much as there is no basketball court, no badminton court which I believe should be there. The classrooms are neat & ventilated perfectly of about capacity of 60 students. There is a lecture hall to having more capacity than classrooms. Computer Labs, Chemistry Labs & Digital classrooms are also there for a better & practical understanding of concepts.
24/7 water supply & electricity supply is there. There is no Hostel facility, in particular, our Unit but yes Hostel facility is present in the technical Unit of our college & one wants to Live in Hostel can get a room over there. Overall I consider Infrastructure in the average category because it has almost all facility a student need but advancement in the campus is still missing.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive & helpful. And I believe students having Great teachers do not require a library. The same was my case, all my doubts were solved by teachers on a go. The thing that is best about college is, it has almost all Experienced teachers. Even there are doubt classes after college hours. College provides a 4-year course of B.A. B.Ed or B.Sc. B.Ed. So one from any stream can have their Choices available on one campus. The Curriculum provided is sufficient for a student to become a Great teacher. After every month tests are taken to know a student's progress. Every 6 months, internals is taken to make students ready for main exams & then Main exams are conducted by the university.
Other: One can go in teaching line through this course or may proceed to prepare for competitive exams as the course itself makes students ready for competitive exams. I choose to do B. Ed as teaching is my passion and also I believe teaching is one of the safe jobs for a girl (it's my personal opinion & I AM not in oppose of any other jobs). A yearly event is organized consisting of Cultural & sports events & different activities to serve as entertainment purposes. Also, an evergreen Club is made to spread awareness among students & many students are Active members of this Club & in every 6 months, this Club organizes public meetings & events in the city to spread awareness among people to keep city green & clean. Well, these are all extracurricular activities that take place in college. And from my personal Experience, I think sports should be promoted in college. And Cultural events should be organized frequently so the students can Explore more talents in themselves. There is a big Hall for any event or gathering but I think an Auditorium would give a better effect on campus.
