B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2023
2.4

Our college is only for students who just want a degree.
Placements: Every year almost 40% of students get placed in various roles from this college. The highest salary package offered until now was 6 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 2.1 LPA. Mostly small IT solution companies recruit students from this college. The college provides various internship opportunities to students. The roles offered in our course were software developer, sales and UI/UX designer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available for students here. Classrooms are fine and have smartboards. Labs are also highly equipped, and the library has a variety of different books. Hostel rooms are good. There is Wi-Fi in the hostel. The food served in the mess is fine. There are no such sports activities.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very good. They teach very well and are also really helpful in nature. They help students with every kind of academic problem. The curriculum of Kurukshetra University is followed here. So the subjects are taught more theoretically than practically. Exams are decent and not very tough nor very easy.
Other: IT field offers various career opportunities. With the increasing demand for software engineers in the country, our course is one of the best courses to choose. I wish the subjects must be taught more practically rather than theoretically. There are no curricular activities in our college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, infrastructure, and placements.
Placements: The college is not that good at placements. The highest package was INR 6 LPA. Don't have high expectations. Teachers are not of much help in placements, and you have to go with off-campus drives because the maximum package is also from off-campus. So come and visit at least.
Infrastructure: The campus is not so good. The main building is small, but hostels have good infrastructure, and there are separate hostels for girls and boys. The ground area is good, but not so good. But the surrounding area is very calm. There is not any violence, and the seniors are very good and supportive.
Faculty: In my batch, in the 2nd semester, the EGD teacher was changed four times, and the last teacher came one and a half months before. Overall, teachers are good but not great. Faculty are very supportive, and they will not just teach you; they will guide you and force you to study like school teachers do.
Other: According to the fee, this institute is good enough, but if you want to be an engineer, then go for it if you can't afford any big colleges.

College Inside Life: The Untold Facts.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is around 30% in my course. The highest package is 5 Lacs, the lowest is 2 Lacs, and the average package is 2.5 Lacs. The top recruiting company is Infosys for my course. Only 10 percent of students got internships in some local companies near the college. The top role offered is Java Developer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and every classroom has one projector. The labs are equipped with Wi-Fi. The library is fully air-conditioned and is very quiet and good to study. It also has all types of books, from college course books to higher-level exams. The hostel is very good, neat and clean, fully furnished, but the mess food is not up to the mark. The same case with the canteen: the packaged food is good, providing essentials like cold drinks and sandwiches. There is no medical facility in the college. Tournaments are organized regularly for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and easy to interact with, whenever a student wants. They are very knowledgeable about their subjects and provide PPT and notes for good-quality study. The course curriculum is very much relevant to being industry-ready and getting a job. The semester exams are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be an engineer, and the best thing about this course is it prepares you for the industry. This course should also include some personality enhancement subjects. Events are organized based on some festivals and annual events. The campus crowd is good as students from different states come here to study. The campus surrounding is also good. The connectivity for essentials is also very good. The scholarships are based on the percentage and the caste category as well. In extracurricular activities, there are sports you can opt for and art and craft as well.
