This college is very good.

Placements: Placement percentage is around 70%. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Companies like IBM, Cognizant, Accenture, and TCS are top recruiters. Around 65%-70% of students are placed in companies like Accenture, TCS, and IBM. Someone secured an internship at Google through a referral. Fields like full stack development, machine learning, and cloud computing are offered.

Placements: About 75% of students got placed in our course. As I have heard, the highest salary package offered is about 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, IBM, Accenture, etc. No internships are provided at our college, especially in management, startups, etc.

All about My College life.

Placements: Till last year, the placement of this college was pretty good; more than 80% of the students got placed. However, this year, the placement percentage has dropped drastically. The majority of the students didn't get placed in any company. I hope this situation improves quickly.

Not a good value for money.

Placements: I am studying in my first year but my elder brother is studying in his final year. I got information from him that, till now, only 20–30% of students get placed. On-campus, the college is not bringing good companies with satisfied roles. Not very many students get internship opportunities. This is why me and my brother are now totally hopeless for this college.

B.Tech in a compact and full of struggling palace.

Placements: Around 80% percent students from CSE branch gets placed. The highest till date was 22lpa and the lowest would be around 2lpa Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and sometimes even Jio comes too. Hardly a handful of students get internship as it requires great skill, some opt for paid internship as well as sold by some course companies. Technical, assistant, etc. Roles are offered.

An Unbiased review about my College.

Placements: I am currently in my third year at BPPIMT, where I am pursuing a B.Tech. in ECE. Our college has a good track record when it comes to placements, with around 60–70% of students getting placed each year. However, due to the recession this year, there has been a slight decrease in the placement percentage. On average, students receive a package of 4.5–5 LPA, while the highest package offered is around 10–12 LPA. Accenture, PWC, Infosys, and Cognizant are some of the top recruiting companies that v...

BP Poddar: Placement is abundant; skill development is in need of improvement.

Placements: Most of the CSE and IT students at BP Poddar consistently secure placements with renowned MNCs like Cognizant, Infosys, and Accenture, with each of these companies hiring approximately 100 students annually. However, the compensation package (CTC) may not always meet the high expectations of the students. INR 3.5–4 LPA is offered to 300–350 students at Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, etc. INR 5.5–6.5 LPA is offered to 50–80 students in EY and PwC. Some students get packages above the INR 6 LPA. I...

Review of B.P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology.

Placements: The average package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest package offered is 10 LPA, but only 2 MNCs are mass recruiters, and they are Infosys and Cognizant. Apart from this, some other start-up companies will come here with decent offers. If you are talented (good in DSA and competitive coding), then you can get a package of up to 15 LPA off-campus. Almost everyone here will get placed if they meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Even if you are the worst student, you can get a 1.5 LPA package.

Review of B.P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology.

Placements: The average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 4 LPA. Around 80% of students get placements. But the companies that visit this college are all service based companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. They mainly get it from off-campus placements drives.

Good placements but campus needs improvements.

Placements: In this academic year of 2019-2020, about 70% of the students got placed with most of them getting multiple job offers. Where Rs. 80,000 per month was the highest package. The lowest package being Rs 20,000 per month. The average was around Rs. 35,000. The top recruiting companies for B.Tech CSE is Capgemini, Infosis and CTS. Overall a decent college if you are looking for good placement with a low fees.

Placements: B.Tech in CSE is a good option in BPPIMT. 90% of the students got placed in our batch (2013-17). The maximum package was 4lpa by a few companies like E&Y, BOSCH and the lowest was around 1.8 given by some BPOs. However the avg package in our batch was around 3.5lpa. Companies like CTS, BOSCH, E&Y, Johnson Control, Infy, Byju's were among the other recruiters. Some 30% of the students got internship too in Byju's and Infosys.

It is not that good college because the college doesn't have any particular campus.

Placements: Placements are good. More than 50% of the students got placed this year. CTS, Infosys, Capgemini this type of top MNCs visit here every year, and recruit here. But the main thing is they won't give any jobs for lateral entry students. Only 4 years B.Tech students got placed, though some of them are very dump and useless. Some of the students are placed in CTS even though they had two backlogs. But after fulfilling all the criteria, the college won't give any job to them. This is pure politics be...

A lot of improvement is required in the teaching methods and techniques.

Placements: The placements were quite good in our batch (2015 -2019) compared with the previous year batch. The top recruiters were Cognizant and Infosys. The highest package offered was of 5 LPA by Infosys. Most of the students got placed in the average salary package only which was of 3.28 LPA. The students who were successfully hired by CTS and Infosys were offered internship of 3 to 5 months.

Dissatisfied because of faculty members but placements in 2019 were good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. But only software companies like Cognizant and Infosys visit the campus for placements. But only CSE and IT students get a chance as they are software companies. For electrical, the placement scenario is poor. After studying core subjects, they have to learn C, C+ and Java for jobs. The college can't invite core companies for placements.

You can have a good college life as the institute promises, but placements have to be improved.

Placements: On an average, 80% of the students of CSE department get recruited by mass recruiters such as CTS, etc. Few other companies that visit our college are E&W and Infosys. The average salary package provided to the students was 4 LPA. Our college doesn't offer internships, and you need to acquire it in off-campus placements. CSE students of 2019 batch were offered with the highest salary package of 6 LPA.

The college provides good placements.

Placements: The salary packages offered are between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. But, as the college dropped down to the third-tier college category, expectations were not much high. But, the placement numbers were very promising indeed. Many mass recruiters visited the college, and the highest salary package offered was 7 LPA.

Dissatisfied with the college campus life.

Placements: The previous year (2017) placements were really pathetic. Students had to go for on-campusing and off-campusing. The major drawback is, mass recruiters turned off from taking a huge number of students, and they blamed the recession. That year, only 15-20% of the students got placed. The pass-out batches got around 70-80% of placements (leaving this batch). The highest package offered was 25 LPA by DirecteI, the lowest package was of 2.8 LPA, and the average package was 3.2 LPA. Infrastructure is not good due to the lack of place. Poor placements in this year. Good faculty.

Placements: The placements were good until last year, but this year, it is very bad. Approximately 15% of the students got placed. This year, no mass recruiter company came to the campus. Some companies visited and offered the package of around 4.5-6 lacs per annum, but they recruited the students only in single digit. Till last year, the college had 70-80% placement record. The average package offered was around 3-3.3 lacs per annum. Till last year, many big companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Tech Mahindra...

In short are this college is not good for people with creativity.

Placements: The placement has gone down to way beyond anything. The principal is giving away jobs in call centre as a comprehensive because they could't get the company to come to our college. What's more is that the college gave has one *** of 4 years and then without placement. Last year placement was 23 in companies out of 400.
