Well-equipped campus with decent placement opportunities.

Placements: A total of 70% of students at Haldia Institute of Technology graduation cohort received job offers although the institution believes all students will find employment before this academic year ends. Companies have represented packages ranging from 40 LPA (off-campus) and 12 LPA (on-campus) up to 5 LPA average. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top companies are IBM, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, PwC, TCS, Wipro, etc. Internships are obtained by between 20 to 30% of students who part...

It is a good college, if we want to spend our college life peacefully.

Placements: Top roles offered here are usually in the IT area like SDE and research analyst. Also when it comes to core companies, IOCL and Haldia Petrochemicals hire students first as graduate trainee. They are offered a PPO based on their performance and vacancies.

Brutally Honest Review!

Placements: In my course, approximately 55% of students were placed in MNCs, and the total placement was 70 to 80%. Be assured to have 60% or above in 10 and 12 along with a maximum 2-year education gap. The highest 45 LPA off-campus Amazon only for girls. Next 15 LPA off-campus. On-campus maximum 9 Wiley Edge. The average is 3.5 LPA. The lowest 2.4 to 0. No core company for ECE. Even if a core company, most are local companies offering below-average packages. Mostly IT service-based MNCs recruit. Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and good placements in 2023.

Placements: In my chemical batch, nearly everyone was placed. Some seniors pursued higher studies; that's why they didn't participate. Otherwise, the placement percentage is 96% and higher. The highest package is 26 lakhs, the lowest 2.6 lakhs, and the average is 6 lakhs. Top recruiters are HPCL, Tata Chemicals, Reliance, Adani, etc. 89% of students joined internships, and companies include HPCL, Tata Chemicals, Reliance, and many more. Top roles are process management, waste management, plant manager, oper...

Large campus area, absolutely good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The companies that come to our campus for recruitment are Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, IBM. Around 92% of students are placed with a better package. The average package is 5-6 LPA and the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. HIT has a dedicated training and placement cell that actively works to bridge the gap between students and recruiters.

HIT: The iconic four pillars in Haldia Institute of Technology.

Placements: Companies do come, including the mass recruiters. You get a lot of time in 4 years to shine, which you will not get in any other college. Being honest, I know a lot of seniors who are getting packages more than 12 LPA, and I also know a few who are jobless (because in 4 years they drank, enjoyed, took drugs, and did nothing).

It is beautiful and my dream college.

Placements: A minimum of 50% of students get placed. Every type of company visits our college and gives opportunities for students. Our college is approved by the NBA. So it has many options. Top companies like Accenture, Infosys, KCL, PwC, etc., visit the college for placements. We have to do a minimum of 3 internships. Our professors also help with it.

Haldia Institute of Technology.

Placements: While placements aren't exceptional, they are not dismissals either. On the first day, our course professors assured us that if we attended classes diligently and followed the curriculum, a job would be guaranteed. However, the salary package is too low in that case. To secure a more competitive salary, students must go beyond the classroom and put in significant extra efforts on their own. In conclusion, while not comparable to top colleges like IITs or NITs, the ROI is solid. I am giving 4 sta...

Placements: About 70% of students got placement. The highest package is 33 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. Internships are mainly based on the students. Students are free to do internships in MNCs on their own.

Good college, and placement is decent. Green campus but lack of beautiful sites.

Placements: Placement is good in HIT, as it is a tier 1 college. So the placement rate is good enough, and also it will give you the opportunity to get a high-paid job if you have the guards to get it. The highest placement is approximately 33 LPA. The average for tech (I think) is approximately 6, 7 LPA. You can work hard, then it will be 10-12 LPA.

Overall the college is great.

Placements: This college is great as we get a good campus experience with other state students along with great peer groups, but sometimes it hurts because it's not near Kolkata. This is the only reason why I give it 4 stars. But the placement scenario is very good. This year, 2024, companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and other service-based companies, along with also some product-based companies and startups, came and hired a good amount of students. The placements are still active, and regularly com...

The highest on-campus salary package offered was 35 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5.5 LPA.
