    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at B.S.A. College of Engineering and Technology a good choice?

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Infrastructure and Facilities:
    * Good libraries and labs
    * Average classrooms and canteens
    * Limited sports and recreational facilities

    Teaching Quality:
    * Some teachers are knowledgeable and supportive
    * Others may lack teaching skills or experience
    * Course curriculum is outdated and not industry-relevant

    Placements and Internships:
    * Low placement rates (around 30%)
    * Limited internships (around 10%) and mostly off-campus
    * Few companies recruit from the college (top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Byju's)

    Campus Life:
    * Limited campus events and activities
    * No regular cultural programs or fests
    * Strict rules and regulations governing student behavior

    Scholarships:
    * Limited scholarships available, mostly for students from reserved categories
    * No scholarships provided by the college itself

    Curriculum Relevance:
    * Course curriculum is outdated and not industry-relevant
    * Students struggle to find relevance in the course material

Considering these factors, B.E./B.Tech at B.S.A. College of Engineering and Technology seems to have its limitations. While some students have reported positive experiences with certain teachers and facilities, the overall placement record, internship opportunities, and campus life leave room for improvement. Prospective students should carefully weigh these factors before deciding whether this institution is the right fit for them.

    * Relevant to Industry: The course curriculum is relevant to the industry, preparing students for real-world challenges. [Review 11]
    * Regular Updates: The college updates its curriculum regularly to reflect changes in industry requirements. [Review 14]
    * Focus on Practical Knowledge: Faculty emphasizes practical knowledge over theoretical concepts. [Review 20]
    * Industry-Like Projects: The college offers projects similar to those found in industry, allowing students to develop problem-solving skills. [Review 23]

However, some concerns were raised about the course curriculum:

    * Outdated Topics: Some topics may not be up-to-date with the latest technological advancements. [Review 17]
    * Lack of Hands-on Training: While faculty supports students, hands-on training and practical knowledge might not be emphasized enough. [Reviews 21, 26]

Review of Electronic and Communication Engineering students by Ashish Gupta.
Placements: 70% of students are placed per year by BSA College of Engineering and Technology. The highest package is 11 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Most of the companies come to give placement in our college, like TCS, HCL, Infosys, and much more.
Infrastructure: The facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, classrooms, etc., are good. The library and labs are fully air-conditioned and have a 24/7 Wi-Fi facility available for the ease of students. The hostel and mess facility are average. The sports and games facility is good, and the college has good exposure for games.
Faculty: Our teachers are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, providing premium quality education. They are dedicated to supporting students, offering guidance and assistance to ensure a thorough understanding of the subject matter. Their expertise fosters a positive and engaging learning environment.
    Other: Good environment .

College in the heart of Mathura.
Placements: Around 50-60 percent of placements are genuine on-campus placements. But the rest of the students get placed by themselves. The highest package of the college is 14.5 LPA and the lowest is not fixed, but the average is 5.5-6 LPA. Top recruiters are local, but certain companies are outsiders.
Infrastructure: The college campus is its main highlight. If you have a low rank and are not getting a good private college in Mathura, you can choose this college. The academics are good and teachers are well qualified. The cons of this college are the compulsory 75% attendance, and the examination is conducted very strictly, even leading to backlogs for many students.
Faculty: Faculty are good, teachers were helpful and kind, highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is outdated, and certain things are not in use nowadays. Checking of semester exams is hard, and even students face backlogs.

The truth about B.S.A. College of Engineering and Technology
Placements: A total of 30% students got placements. A package of 15 LPA is the highest of the year. The average package is about 2.5 LPA. HCL, uttam trips, colab ai technology, Zscaler, etc. No one got any top post in a company; just employee post were grabbed.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are just basic. There are no such morden classrooms and labs. The library was quite good, with a seating capacity of 100. The library is fully air-conditioned. In the hostel, there are two-seater rooms with a ceiling fan. A table, chair, and B.Ed. are issues for a student. The quality of food is just okay; you just get simple, basic food. There is no sufficient medical facility on campus. Talking about sports and games, there is no sufficient equipment and faculty, and the ground is also so small.
Faculty: Of course, teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The way of teaching is also good, and they are quite helpful unless you find them in any indiscernible activities. The course is offered by Aktu Lucknow, so it was relevant and industry-demanded. Semester exams are easy to moderate, and an average student can pass them without any difficulty. The passing percentage is 30%. .
Other: At events and festivals, the college organises a freshmen party, a farewell party, and some cultural events. The campus crowd is approximately 2000. The campus is surrounded by colonies and other allied colleges. All students with state residence are provided scholarships by the government. In extracurricular activities, spots are organized.

Do not expect much from this college.
Placements: The placement of this college is really bad. Out of 120 students, hardly 15 got placed in placements with an average package of less than 5 LPA. In order to get a good job, you need to try off-campus. You need to develop your own skills to get a job; this college is not going to help you much in your placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is really poor. Classes of this college feel like school. Most of the classes do not even have projectors. There are no air conditioners or coolers for classes, even in excessive heat. There are no good sports facilities; even the badminton court is outdoor and cemented.
Faculty: This college is AKTU affiliated. You have three internal exams and then finally a university exam. Your syllabus is not going to help you in placement; you need to develop your skills. As it is affiliated with a government university, delays in results and exams are possible.
Other: There are no major events, no fests, and no college life.

    Take admission in this college.
Placements: Approximately 40% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Around 30% of students got internships in this course. The companies like Wipro, Pragrad, Bajaj, etc. came to our college every year to place students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. .Our classrooms are well-maintained with proper AC. Wi-Fi facilities are not available in our college. Many playgrounds are available in our college. Our college has 1 canteensThe food served in the mess is okay. Wifi is not available and the library has all the books available that we need for our studies.
Faculty: The pass percentage is 50%. Teachers are helpful .The teaching quality is better for us to understand and they provide notes that are easy in language. They always clear our doubts in classrooms and during lab time. They teach us in easy language and they provide notes, which are easily understood by us. The pass percentage is 50%.

I am dissatisfied due to faculty and placement concerns.
Placements: There were 60 students in the class with only one section. Nearly 10 to 15% of students were placed from the course. The highest package was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 1.9 LPA, with an average of 2.3 LPA. Top recruitment companies included Zenerate and Wipro, among others. About 10 to 15 students secured internships from companies like Agicent Technologies and Planet Park. The top roles offered were software developer, software tester, sales, and US IT recruiter.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were average; not all facilities were available. Classrooms had projectors, and there were three labs, but no Wi-Fi connectivity was provided. However, labs had internet connections. Only 2-3 boys were in the hostel, as most students were from nearby areas. The canteen food was average, and there was no medical facility. Only a sports week was held annually; there were no other functions or festivals except for fresher and farewell events.
Faculty: Only some teachers were helpful, with a few being well-qualified. Most lacked teaching skills. The course curriculum was not relevant, and no specializations were offered by the university. This course did not prepare students for the industry. Semester exams were held after 3-4 months by the university, and they were moderately difficult, consisting mostly of theory over practicals. The pass percentage was 33% per subject in both university and internal examinations.
Other: I chose this course because I started learning coding in 8th grade, which influenced my decision to pursue B.Tech in CSE. The best aspect I liked was the comprehensive course overview, which provided knowledge across all subjects. BSACET is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Although the course is established by the university, it does not meet industry standards necessary for students. The university lacks adoption of new technical courses ahead of time, unlike private universities. Only freshmen, farewell, and sports week events were organized annually. The campus crowd was decent, and the campus's central city location made it accessible by all means of transport. Scholarships were provided by the state government through forms on the government website; the college did not offer any scholarships. Only sports week was organized for extracurricular activities.
