My college experience at Baba Farid College, Bathinda.
Placements: Our college has a good placement record with impressive packages. About 20-30% of students are placed in big MNCs, and along with that, the college also provides internships for students. 70% of students got internships in many big companies like Reliance, etc. providing a good platform to learn new things and experience.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with well-furnished classrooms along with many other facilities like Wi-Fi. The department has a big library with different knowledgeable books. The college hostel also has good infrastructure with good quality food and other facilities.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very good, well-experienced, friendly, and very cooperative. Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. All of them are very kind and helpful, providing support at every step. Exams are moderate and easy to crack with good scores.
Other: The college life is full of fun and learning. Many events and fests were organized, and extracurricular activities were done. The campus area was good with interactive minds and hearts. It provides holistic growth for mental, social, and cultural life.

I came here on 24th august, 2024 , My Experience About This College will be Decent In All Areas. On paper Here Is 100% placement opportunity. As a first year Student, I Can say that Placement of this college is decent , about percent 70% out of 100%.
Lowest package offered here is 2-3 LPA, Average 20 LPA and highest package offered here 72LPA.

Hostel Is Very Good and Beautiful With All facilities. Here are AC and NON -AC Rooms. Food Quality Is far better than other state Colleges like UP, HARYANA, MP AND MAY MORE. But in Our Hostel Only Vegan Foods Are Served. Non - veg is not available in mess Menu. GYM IS available for Boys and Girls.
Canteen is in the Campus And all the needed things you can buy from there. Medical Facility is also available for students, Here Special Doctors and Ambulances Are Available 24?7.
Our college organizes Many sports ( Cricket, Hockey, Volleyball,Football,Kabaddi) & games (Ludo,Chess etc.) trials and tournament along with E-Sports (BGMI ,FREE FIRE & CALL OF DUTY) also.
Faculty: Teachers Are Very Helpful and Joyful With Students. They Are well Talented and Educated, Some Of them Are IITIANs. Along with some faculties gives online classes to foreign (canada ,Australia & USA) students. All the faculties are PHD and Post PHD Degree handlers in their Specific Subjects.
Other: Actually, I'm A Btech CSE Student. Becoming A software Developer Or Web Developer Was My dream from class 10th. So, I chose CSE.
The reason of choosing this course was CSE is a growing Field in Tech world. And CSE graduates earns much money. From being a middle class family Money Matters for me, This college was affordable for so, I have chosen thos college. Best thing is that the engineering from here is in affordable price with good placement opportunity.

Good infrastructure and good teachers but very poor placements.
Placements: There is very less placement in the college. Very less companies come and the companies which come select only 1-2 students for placement. College should try to bring more companies. Very less placements are offered in the college. Mainly sales roles are offered.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure I can say it is awesome. All the facilities are available like Wi-Fi, libraries etc. Full care is taken of greenery in the college. Classrooms are very good and equipped with projectors and in all classes two ACs are also installed. So it is awesome.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Most of the teachers are M.Sc. and Ph.D. holders. They have full knowledge about their subject and try to complete the full syllabus before time. Regular MSTs (mid semester tests) are taken to judges the students. Pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course as I heard that it has a lot of scope both in private and public sectors. Placements should be better. Very less events and fests are held in college.

Review of Baba Farid Group of Institutions.
Placements: All the students scored 80% above in our course and their placement is above 5 lacs or more.
Companies such as Reliance, Google, and YouTube offer approximately 100% placement. Once we take admission in BFGI, we also get the opportunity to take placement in the best companies. Bfgi also tries to provide the best facilities to students, such as mini-seminars and extension lectures.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BFGI is very excellent and the hostel and classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The mess provides the best hygienic food. All types of medical facilities are available. Every day, new sports events are ongoing on BFGI. Hostel life is also the best. The rooms are spacious, with the best bed and an almirah. Wi-Fi is also available on the whole campus and hostel.
Faculty: The staff teachers are excellent and noble. All are well-qualified and good-behaved teachers. But in BFGI, the strictness is very high during the exam and during attendance. If our attendance is not at 65%, then we will not be able to sit for exam. Teachers are connected with our parents by bfgi apps

Other: The campus is very wide and full of trees. Many canteens are available on campus.

The main aim of writing is to give you an honest review of the college.
Placements: The overall experience here was very good. If we talk about the placements, there were many golden opportunities provided for the students to grab. 85% of the students got placed in the on-campus drive. The highest package offered till now is 75 Lacs and the average package goes up to 7 to 8 lacs pa. I was in the BBA course, many companies offered internship opportunities for this course including the Times of India and many more.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in the campus are very awesome including a clean hostel and mess. Students get two types of rooms being AC and Non-AC rooms. A high speed Wi-Fi facility is also provided in the campus. Many other facilities are provided by the college including a Bank, an ATM, AC library, Students help care center, etc. All these facilities are provided at pocket-friendly rates.
Faculty: The staff of BFGI is very cooperative and ready to help the students. The teachers on the campus are very helpful, they are always ready to solve the issues faced by the students in their academics. The passing percentage of the college is outstanding. The semester exams were intermediate being neither too tough nor too easy.
Other: Baba Farid Group of Education offers a wide range of courses including Engineering, Commerce, Agriculture and many others. The VIBGYOR fest features bollywood celebrities and Punjabi singers whose visits enhance the environment of the college. Every festival and programme is enjoyed at BFGI.

Good campus life and decent placements.
Placements: The college provides 100% placement. The highest package offered was 12 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, Google, TCS, and Infosys participated in the placements. The roles offered were basic, as my course is an undergraduate course.
Infrastructure: A library is available with a variety of books. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the campus. The hostel and campus have all AC rooms. Sports and games are held regularly. The food in the canteens and hostel is good. Three meals a day are provided in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers, faculty, and teaching quality were all great. The course is an undergraduate course, so it was not really industry-ready. A student must also learn some other skills to get a better job. The exams' difficulty is moderate. 100% of the people pass this degree.
