Q:   Can I join Balaji Institute of Modern Management directly?

A:

Postgraduate management programs are available at the renowned Indian business school, Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM). A challenging selection process that takes into consideration academic achievement, entrance exam results, group discussions, and in-person interviews is usually used to determine admissions to BIMM. It is highly common and not allowed to join BIMM directly without first completing the formal admissions process, even though the particular admission requirements may change.

Students who want must generally fulfill specific qualifying requirements in order to be admitted to BIMM. These requirements usually involve a minimum percentage in their bachelor's degree as well as a competitive score on national management admission exams like the CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT. These tests examine individuals' abilities, business knowledge, and analytical skills and serve as a standard for admission to BIMM and other reputable management colleges.

BIMM normally uses an application form, which is followed by a selecting process determined by entrance exam results. After being selected, candidates are invited to individual interviews and group discussions in order to assess their problem-solving and communication skills as well as general programme fit.

The standard application form, which is available online for all four of Sri Balaji University's management institutes in Pune, costs INR 1000. If a student wishes to apply for SBEST, they will also need to pay an extra 490. However, candidates with valid CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or MAH-CET scores are not required to appear for the SBEST.

A registration number is provided once the application price has been successfully paid. Email and the student's dashboard will be used to notify them of the next admissions procedure, which includes GD, PI, and WAT.

At this point, the test results are not required to be included with the application. Since they only give the admission exam 35% of the weight when establishing the merit list, they do not believe in cut-off points.

It is difficult to be successful to apply directly to BIMM without meeting the requirements and going through an official admissions process. It is important that you follow with the official admissions processes in order to maintain impartiality and maintain the standards of the school.

Q:   What is the selection process for MBA and what is the minimum CAT percentile required?

A:

The selection process for MBA typically involves researching and selecting the right MBA program, preparing transcripts of records, taking the GMAT or other entrance exams, and submitting an application that includes transcripts, recommendation letters, a resume, and a statement of purpose. The MBA admission process in India requires a candidate to hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university and to qualify for the entrance exam. The CAT cut off for admission to top MBA colleges like FMS, MDI, and SPJIMR is between 90 to 99 percentile, while Tier 2 MBA colleges usually accept CAT scores around 70-80 percentile and above, and Tier 3 MBA colleges generally look for CAT scores around 60-70 percentile and above. The minimum CAT cut off for IIMs for General category is usually 95-100, while the cut offs for reserved category students is 85-95.

It is the best college to study.

From the second year, the course curriculum was based on their respective domain. Teachers in our college hold Ph.D. They had experience in their fields. Some top recruiting companies include Accenture, Google, Deloitte, Infosys, Amazon, Asian Paints, SBI Bank, HDFC Bank etc. The college has a joint MoU with Philips Capital India, where paid internships are provided. Now, this college is not in a way like before it was.
Placements: Placements have been affected due to this COVID-19 pandemic, but our college placement team is trying really hard to get some great companies on board. Roles offered here are management executive, sales trainee and financial consultant, and they differ as per the specialisation. Our college has a projects team, which also provides great internship offers for students. But the salary package doesn't matter if the job role provided to students is not good. Top recruiting companies can be found on the college website.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is really great compared to other colleges at this fee structure. Especially BIMM and BITM will make you feel like you are in the top B-School. The library is really great and huge, where even you mightn't find the route to come out. Classrooms are also nicely ventilated and spacious, and there are 4 computer labs. Facilities provided in the hostel are unique and different in their own way. Facilities are great in almost every domain because the college is spacious and clean. The entire cluster is cleaned by the hostel staff members on a weekly basis. Wi-Fi facility is not much great, and there is no issue with electricity and water as they are available 24x7. Hot water is provided only in the morning from 6 am-7:30 am. The quality of the food served is excellent, and hygiene maintained by the mess is really great. The hostel has the facility of the laundromat as well. For sports, the hostel has a gymnasium, swimming pool, table tennis, carrom, basketball, volleyball, badminton and a football court. Our college also has good medical facilities, but there are a lot of restrictions. So, you feel a little irritated initially, but later everything becomes normal. Your cluster mates will become more like family members.
Faculty: All the in house and external faculty members are extremely qualified. However, guest faculty members are extremely talented, knowledgeable and qualified as well. My course was PGDM, and the curriculum designed for us is relevant as well. But I think it may not make us industry-ready, but some subjects will surely make us industry-ready. I wish it has to be emphasised more in college. I hope that from this year (from 2020 batch), our college will be providing an MBA degree, and they might even change the course a little so that it make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course to explore more in the marketing field, which will also help me to understand the market and will also help me to assess myself. I wish that our college should be much transparent and student-friendly. It should provide better flexibility for students to explore themselves instead of only focusing on academics like conducting workshops on cybersecurity, current market scenario, how a company does business, startup incubation centre and many more. We are not allowed to participate in any fests or events conducted by other colleges. However, we are allowed to participate in any online event, which is conducted by top companies or colleges. There is no scholarship for anyone irrespective of their merit or anything. The crowd comes from entire India, but there will be a talent for 1,000 students only. So, it completely depends on the students whom they select as their friends.
