College with good faculty and very good placements.

Placements: There were a bundle of opportunities for the students, be it my batch or any of the senior batches I have seen. Everybody in my branch got placed at least in 1 company. In fact, there were people from ECE having 2 or 3 offers in hand. We had Google visiting our campus for our senior batch, LinkedIn for our batch. Companies like Mu Sigma, SAP Labs also visited our campus for the year 2015-16.

An average college for studying.

Placements: Placements for CSE students is good. I would say it is above average from other colleges in Bangalore. Usually, more than 90% students are placed. For CSE, mass recruiters such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Accenture majorly give an average package of 3.4 to 4.5 lakhs. The campus is visited by more than 60 companies. There are a bunch of companies which will give packages between 8-12 lakh like Oracle Mysql, LinkedIn (12lakh), Walmart (14lakh offering), Sprinkler (8L) and many more. One thing to n...

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placements are mediocre and the job designation of a developer is not offered in most cases. The highest package offered was 9 LPA in my batch and for my senior batch too, the highest package was 9 LPA. The lowest salary was 2.8 LPA for both the years. The average package was 5 LPA.

BIT- good placement and bad infrastructure.

Placements: Placement is the only plus point of BIT. We have seen companies like Cisco, SansungNetapp, Google, ASamsung R&D, Walmart Labs etc. If you are a computer science student, you need not worry about placement. Although the above-mentioned companies come but around 20-30% students get these offers. The majority of students get into mass recruiters. The highest package is around 14 lakhs but the average package is around 4 lakhs. Many students have more than one offer. In our batch, around 50 studen...

It is a good place to learn.

Placements: The placements were really good though fewer companies visited this year. Almost all the students are placed and many good companies like Walmart, Google, Oracle etc visited this year. The internship offers were from Cisco and more companies will be visiting in the coming months, so overall, the placements are good.

Only placements are good here.

Placements: The placement is really good if you are a computer science or information science student. Companies like Walmart, adobe, Akamai, etc. visits the campus for recruitment. Mass companies like Infosys, L&T, Wipro, and Accenture also come. The highest package for this year has been 14 LPA .Though, these renowned companies come to our college, the role offered to the students are mainly testing and data analysis .Very few developer roles are offered. Internship opportunities are also provided by comp...

Satisfied with the placements of 2016.

Placements: The placement is quite good for mechanical engineer students as compared to all the other colleges in Bangalore. A students gets an average package of 4-5 LPA. The placements are good for every branch in this college, especially, for computer science students.

The college is worth spending your four valuable years if you are not getting into an NIT or IIT.

Placements: Placements are really good in comparison to other colleges in Bengaluru. If you have good knowledge of your subject, you can easily get a 12 LPA package. All the major software companies visit the college as it is one of the best colleges you can avail through COMEDK.

Dissatisfied because of the faculty members and bad infrastructure.

Placements: The placement in the college is more than fine. Usually students who get placed, fly out with the average package of 3.5-5 LPA every year. For the CS department, the percentage of placement varies from 93-96%. Overall, the placement for CS students is very good. If any student doesn't find any hope of getting placed, then the mass recruiter companies like Accenture, Wipro and TCS enlighten their dark hope.

Excellent for CS/IT, okay-okay for other branches.

Placements: For CS and IT, placement is almost 100%. Companies come every 2-3 days for them. For ECE, EEE, mech and civil, the placement is okay-okay. However, getting placed in core companies is very very difficult as these companies take only a handful of students. Others get placed in Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, which are the prime mass recruiters.

Never prefer VTU colleges, if you have other options. BIT is good but lacks a good faculty. It has one of the best in placements, which is a strong point. You can enjoy a lot. Placement in companies depends on your competency. Students of BIT have excellent academic records and are placed in esteemed industries and corporate sectors. The graduates and postgraduate students of BIT are continuously trained on aptitude, technical and soft skills. Seminars, workshops, and faculty development pro...

It is one of the top VTU affiliated engineering colleges. I study in ME. It has a host of clubs and activities to choose from all around developments. The college hosts entertaining fests every year. This college is up to the mark in the quality of teaching as the classes are conducted as per schedule. Placements are good. However, something which the students often crib about is that the campus is small and there is no ground for outdoor activities such as cricket and football. This forces t...

It’s an average college campus but is very good in terms of teaching. This college is ranked no.1 in VTU colleges and it stands there since long back. It is also one of the oldest colleges of the country. It provides a very good placement ratio, that is almost 100% always. All big companies visit here for recruitment. It organises great fests and cultural activities every year. Clearly, if you want to live a campus life, never join this college as no campus actually exists. But, if you are loo...

The environment and education are pretty good and faculty members are focused on teaching. The main factor about my college is that lab education is one of the best parts here. If I talk about sports, there are so many Students’ Association and they all are too supportive. This is situated in the center of Bangalore city, so transportation services are easily available until 11 pm. As Bangalore is an IT city, hence, placement criteria for ECE, CS and IS Department are very good. Out of 100 s...

This is a good college in terms of education, but it lacks infrastructure. The faculty members for all subjects are outstanding. They motivate the students a lot. Here, they encourage for practical knowledge instead of just going through books. After getting admissions in this college, you will not regret it. This is one of the top institutions in Bangalore Karnataka.

The college provides good educational and extracurricular activities but lacks a bit in sports related activities. The placement record is good and if you go through the courses in a good way, you are sure to be placed on campus. The location is also in the city's center which adds to the advantages to students in terms of connectivity.

The college has a good faculty but average campus facilities. It’s like a semi-government college. Over the years, the quality has dropped along with the ranking. Few courses such as civil and mechanical are good but poor same-field placement. It has the best location and there is no other college with better connectivity.

It is a college with good faculty and lab facilities. The college has a very good campus recruitment and balanced educational and cultural life. Hostel facilities are unbeatable and the food is too good. There is a lack of ground facility for sports lovers. It stands first in the engineering colleges’ list under VTU.

The college has a good faculty, good education and decent campus placements. It has got a good image in terms of the number of placements each year and the only thing which needs improvement is the infrastructure. It offers all engineering courses along with IGNOU. If you are looking for a job after your education then this is not a bad option.
