Faculty members in the college are very good, but you didn’t have to see the bigger campus since it is situated at the heart of the city. Still, it is a good place to learn and succeed in your career. You have support from the faculty members regarding the subject and doubts are cleared by them. Good to see in this college is the fest that is organized once in a year during the even semester. The fests are good and contain all the activities like cultural and technical events during those two ...

Nothing is so special about the college. It has been ranked among the top 10 colleges in Karnataka, although it has ordinary teaching, ordinary facilities and no better placements. CS and IS branches have extraordinary placements almost everyone is placed but when it comes to other branches, almost none are placed in their core branch companies. They have to either join IT mass recruiting companies or be unemployed and look after themselves.

This is one of the finest colleges in Karnataka. Mechanical is a big department here, started around 30 years back with good and experienced faculty members. Students can chill as there won't be much pressure from the department's side. The college has decent placements and approximately 60% of the eligible candidates will get placed. The main drawback is that most of the lab equipment is outdated.

It has good placement statistics and also it is a very old college. Teaching is up to the mark. It has no campus seriously no campus! Just a big building which hold everything. Soon the college is going to shift in Bangalore because it has got good placements and yes computer science branch is very famous in there. Almost all major companies visit the college for recruitment.

The college is good for learning. However, its campus is too small as compared to other colleges. They also don't provide any scholarships. Branches like CS, EC and Mechanical are good. Whichever course you choose you will end you up in an IT company. The average salary is rupees 3 lakhs per annum. If you have a 60% aggregate and average English skills, you will definitely get placed in an IT company.

It has the worst campus, good placements and moderate teaching. There is a lack of discipline and worst infrastructure. No one cares what you do. No one supports and encourage. Anyone who is only interested in placements can join this college. If one maintains 60%, he/she may get placed.

Best college at a prime location.

Placements: The placement of the college is very good. If you are good in English, then surely you are going to land in a very good company. If your technical skills are also good then you are going to get a job of minimum 4 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro and Accenture hire at least half of the batch.

The funniest thing about this college is that anyone can walk in, without any ID card. Salesmen, walk in freely and no-one restricts. Cons: The college is situated in South India, and North-Indian students are bound to face language issues and BIT is no different. At times, the faculty members explain in Kannada and it becomes difficult for outsiders to follow. To some extent, there is regional bias against outsiders. At the BIT office, every clerk and peon expect bribe, even to do small t...

The college is said to be the 2nd best in VTU, but when it comes to placements, it is the same as the second last. Other than CS branch, all colleges have an average package of rupees 3 lakhs. The core sector has the worst placement record. If you are taking core branches, you can only be placed in mass recruiter company like Wipro and TCS.

The campus is not good but is located at the heart of the city. Teaching standard is very poor and lab facilities are very good. Sports facilities are available. The library is decent. Classrooms and benches are very old. Teachers are friendly. Overall, I was happy with the experience. I was expecting more exposure to present world technology but teachers have a little zeal for teaching.

The college has good placements and good lecturers. Very good exposure to other activities. Various companies visit the college. For the betterment of the students, the college organizes many seminars and foundation programs.

Bangalore Institute of Technology is one of the premier institutes in Karnataka which stands at the fifth position. If students are really interested in the technical programme and other technical aspects, there is a lot of scope for individual development in all the manner. Culturally, a lot of talent is found which needs to be given a platform from the management with proper initiation. Laboratories in the mechanical department are of the greatest advantage for the people studying in BIT beca...

Placements are not up to the mark for what they are charging, though.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark, maybe due to the recession. You cannot completely rely on the college for placements; off-campus placements are better. If a company is offering a good package, then the number of students selected is less. An 8 CGPA or above is required.

College is good, canteen is hygienic, and the placements are good.

Placements: Robotics and artificial intelligence are new branches that emerged just a year ago. As the students are still in the 3rd semester, we cannot say much about the placements this soon. We are hoping for good placements in the future. As this branch includes both the technical and mechanical fields, this would be the future.
